I stayed one week there and appreciated every day. - Lonely island feeling far from the world. It's a must to stay to avoid the crowd of 11am/2pm and have a chunk of paradise for yourself outside those hours. Particularly to avoid the queue to climb the hill. - Amazing sunset and view from the top of the hill every day. - The staff was so caring and nice. Particularly mister Tei and miss Been while I became sick the last day. - Diving center right on your doorstep. - free shuttle boat to Koh Tao every day if you miss the civilization - every bungalow have good orientation for the view. - internet was ok. - The shower pressure might bother some but it's not a problem under this weather. It would be better to start to pay attention of the effect of the crowd on the nature to preserve it though. The people coming for 2/3h are so careless(i saw shoes, straw, bottles...even socks! Forgotten) Maybe best to raise the price of the room and only allow resort resident to enter, to control the flow of people on the island without losing revenue.

I had an amazing stay at LUB-D Tanote Bay Hotel in Koh Tao! The service was outstanding and the food was absolutely delicious. The whole team was super helpful and friendly — especially Dear, who greeted us with a big smile and made us feel so welcome. The rooms were spotless, and the direct access to beautiful Tanote Bay is just incredible. One of the best hotels I’ve seen in Koh Tao — highly recommend it!

It's a stunningly beautiful location, room is idyllic and you're fully immersed in nature. The pool is a dream to dive into everyday and the view is amazing at all times of the day. Layout is very quirky which we loved and room service was super cute. Main challenge is mosquitos which are unavoidable in Thailand, here especially sunsets triggered lots of them to appear. Great hotel. Stuff are nice We took the room with the direct access to the beach and it was really nice !

First arrival there was black mould in the bathroom, ants in the room and a tear in the curtain. Naturally I complained but received no apology. The staff member on duty seemed inexperienced and couldn’t offer any solutions. I kindly requested someone come and clean it as there was no other room available. Long story short, I showered in a dirty shower that night. The next day a manager apologised and attempted to resolved the issues to a manageable condition. The manager also made some effort to make me feel better which I appreciated. The room itself I loved, 705 is nice and the views are absolutely stunning. However, the shower needs a deep clean and some maintenance. Also staff need training around hospitality.

This hotel is great for people trying to dive. If you're looking for rooms right on the beach then there may be better options, but the rooms that they do have are very good and it feels like you're walking up in the forest. The staff are very kind, there are a lot of great restaurants (vegetarian friendly) and it's very close to the night parties. I stayed in the jungle house which is the last set of rooms. They have to call you a golf cart which takes like 2 minutes to get to your room. It's a bit inconvenient, but not a deal breaker. There is a nice infinity pool for every different set of places so it's good and secluded.

The breakfast was a great buffet every day and the rooms were so spacious and clean. The staff were super friendly and the free shuttle to/from the port was super helpful.

Was a very good Hotel. I don’t really understand the Bad Reviews here. Everything was Fine. We booked a Room with sea view.

That was just a perfect stay in this 5-star hotel. I have stayed in different hotels on Koh Tao, and Koh Tao Regal was the best! For the affordable price we have got a spacious room with a nice balcony with an amazing view to the beach and swimming pool. Though some people say that furniture is a bit old, we did not care. I wish i could stay in this hotel for a month or even longer. The hotel has 3 huge swimming pools! I guess just couple hotels on Koh Tao have swimming pools of that size, because we are on the island, with lack of fresh water! Amazing! And the beach is almost under your balcony. I fell in love with this hotel!
