Room filtered water has an unpleasant odor. Sutera Avenue lack of management maintenance, parking basement is dirty and dark, corridor amd lift also dirty.

The place is nice and offers good value for the price. Since it’s quite affordable, just don’t set your expectations too high. 😆 I’d recommend it for a short one-day stay, especially for friends or a small family. Overall, a decent and budget-friendly option for a quick getaway!

i was check in on April 30, but until today May 14, i won't get may deposit RM200 from the owner..bad service!

We've travelled in asia for 4 weeks booking almost all of it through trip and although we've had some weird stays we've enjoyed them all. However this was not case when staying here which is by far the worst stay we've ever had. Upon arriving, the building was alot more rundown than the photos suggested and the location was not within walking distance to the main tourist locations. Once we got into the flat we were greeted a foul smell, stained sheets and a generally unclean/rundown environment. After further investigation the smell seem to eminate from the bathroom that reeked of feeces and urine as well as being covered in black mould. The toilet seat was stained and made the bathroom feel unusable. We stayed one night and request to change booking to just one night rather than three. This was rejected by the host and also our cancellation was rejected even though they didnt deny the false advertisement. Trip.com are yet to do anything which is disappointing. We left after the first night and found a cheaper and much nicer hotel in the centre. Honestly i would advise not staying here and going anywhere else as the rest of kota kinabalu is loveley but this place really ruins the vibe

The toilet is dirty. And the sheets seem like they haven't been changed.

Location is strategic , rooms are big enough.Aircon is good and cool enough. Overall ok just have some weaknesses for example the cleanliness. A lot of ants on table. Washing machine not functioning. Hair dryer got sparks when turn on Car park provided.

The room was spacious and the hotel is conveniently located near grocery shops, mamak stalls, and other restaurants. A lift is available, which is helpful. However, the view from the room wasn’t great. I had an issue with the room door key,it malfunctioned when I tried to enter, and I had to wait for maintenance to come and fix it even the management has check previously. Before check-in, I was required to pay a RM200 deposit, which they said would be refunded within 2 working days. However, even after 4 days and several follow-up messages, I still haven’t received the refund. The hotel kept giving excuses and no clear update. To be honest, if you don’t like chasing people just to get your own money back, I would not recommend staying here.
