Our family of four traveled to Kota Kinabalu for Chinese New Year, and after much comparison, we chose the family room at this hotel. It turned out to be a fantastic choice! The location is absolutely superb, making it easy to get everywhere. Gaya Street, the Durian Bridge, Central Market, Jesselton Point, and Suria Sabah shopping mall are all nearby – incredibly convenient. Most importantly, the hotel room was spacious enough and exceptionally clean, and the service was very attentive. While the breakfast didn't change much over our five-day stay, the taste was still quite good.

The location is fantastic! The small square downstairs gets lively on Fridays and Saturdays with people singing, creating a great atmosphere. There's a convenience store and a popular 'net-famous' shop just ten meters from the entrance. The floor-to-ceiling windows offer nice views, and it's not too noisy even when there's a night market. It might be a bit far from the pier, but it's a quick ten-minute walk on a nice day.

We were extremely satisfied with our stay! The hotel's location is excellent, making it very convenient for shopping. The breakfast area wasn't crowded, and the staff were incredibly friendly. They not only helped us with a high chair for our child but also greeted our baby every time and complimented how cute she was. We were given a twin city-view room on the 7th floor. The window offered a lush green view of the 'Independence Monument' and the park, making the room feel bright and spacious. On the 5th floor, there's a lounge where you can take your baby to watch cartoons. From the lounge window, you can see 'Durian Street' under the overpass and even catch a glimpse of the sea. The 6th floor features a gym and an outdoor pool, where we even witnessed a beautiful sunset. When we were leaving, the hotel lobby staff very kindly opened the door for us and untied the rope blocking the drop-off area, making it easier for us to get into our car. All in all, we will definitely be back!

The hotel environment is decent, and there's a mini outdoor infinity pool. The location is excellent, making it super convenient to get to Gaya Street or Suria Sabah Shopping Mall. Best of all, there's a Mixue Ice Cream & Tea right outside!

It was a pleasant stay. Ideal location, helpful service crews, breakfast just nice for a good start of the day. Overall, I am glad to make a good choice for this trip’s accommodation!

The hotel's overall decor is a bit dark and somber, which I personally don't really care for. However, the location is absolutely fantastic for dining, shopping, and getting to the pier. The prices fluctuate quite a bit; I ended up paying more by booking in advance.

Hai..Yesterday, I stayed at Horizon Hotel. It was a very exciting experience, and I was extremely satisfied. I would love to come again during the fasting month next year to do my Raya shopping.

Good hotel with strategic location. The breakfast offers a reasonable spread. Overall a pleasant stay and convenient for travellers. However, the water temperature in the shower was inconsistent, it could suddenly change while showering.

The room was a bit dated, and the cleanliness was just okay. We also had to carry our own luggage up. However, the location was truly excellent. It's right on Gaya Street, with plenty of restaurants within walking distance.

This place is super convenient, really close to the durian street and right outside a bustling snack street. It's also near the airport and sunset spots, so it's a great fit all around. Highly recommend staying here!

This hotel's location is fantastic, right above Gaya Street and behind Durian Street. The front desk service was really exceptional; they even helped me retrieve something I accidentally lost. My room had a sea view, and I could watch the sunrise. It's a bit of a shame my trip was too rushed to take any photos.
