Extremely satisfied with my stay! The hotel facilities are excellent, and the pool is very well-maintained. The room size was much larger than expected, and the bedding was comfortable. The surrounding area is also very convenient, with convenience stores and various restaurants within walking distance. Overall, it was a very comfortable and pleasant experience. I really loved the Thai-inspired resort feel. The staff were also very friendly.

There's a 7-Eleven and tourist-friendly restaurants nearby, but McDonald's and Starbucks are a bit of a trek. Due to the location, the hotel rooms tend to have a lot of insects, so I recommend buying bug spray at the convenience store. The pool was large and great, though.

An absolutely wonderful hotel! They welcomed us with elephant-shaped towels, which was a lovely touch. It's super convenient for getting to Ao Nang Beach, and having a 7-Eleven right outside is a huge plus. The welcome tea was delicious, and the staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful.

What we loved most about la playa is the location. Its away from the busy main ao nang street with all the lights and sound but it is not that far away for us to get to the busy main ao nang streets, love it

A fantastic hotel in a smashing location.. clean rooms, great pool but a consistent 1.4m everwhere, meaning a 5ft person needs a step to stand on. Great massage services and friendly staff....only missinig a lively welcolming evenibg bar.

Staff were very friendly & polite, spacious room & comfortable bed. Ntg much on tv but there is a Samsung sound bar in each room can be used for music playing. Drinking water is provided daily & there is water dispenser at the lobby. Resort location is within walking distance to ao nang beach and walking street. Breakfast variety is good & the pad Thai is delicious. Strongly recommend this resort!

Welcoming staff with a nice welcome drink. Room was quiet, bed comfortable, and breakfast decent. They also found and kept my lost bag, which I appreciated. Overall a pleasant stay. The only downside: the listing on Trip.com mentions a sauna, but there isn’t one—misleading.

We had a wonderful stay at La Playa Krabi! The rooms are spacious and very clean. A huge thank you to the staff for the room upgrade upon arrival—it was a lovely surprise and made our stay even better. The staff is generally very friendly and welcoming. Location: Excellent location, very convenient! Breakfast: I’d give it a 4 out of 5. Good variety, but here’s a tip: make sure to toast the croissants—they are delicious when warm! Cons (especially for families): The pool area isn't the most kid-friendly. The main pool is quite deep for children. There is a toddler pool (about 20cm deep), but it’s almost impossible to use because it’s too shallow for actual swimming and is under the direct sun all day. Also, finding a free sunbed is a real quest as they are almost always occupied. Good to know: They require a 2500 THB deposit at check-in. Overall, a great place. We would definitely recommend it!

The hotel's overall ambiance is great, really gives off a resort vibe. The room layout is good, and there's plenty of space, but some of the facilities are a bit old. The faucet water pressure is uneven, the shower goes from hot to cold, and the water quality isn't great.

Good looking resort, simple but good. Two pools available, a big blue one and on the other side a green one. Breakfast buffet with very good variety (even sushi), exceeded expectations compared to the thai standard. The room we booked had a relatively strong humidity/mold smell, so we requested a room change and got assigned a family room, which was really big (our room type was sold out). Cleanliness was okay. 10 min walk to Ao Nang beach, which is convenient.

Although the beach at Aon Nang was disappointing the pools at this hotel are excellent. Pool bar happy hour was our favourite part. Didn’t use the restaurant except for very nice breakfasts. Overall a good stay.

The breakfast was perfect 😋 with a large variety of delicious options — the best way to start the day! Our double room was spacious and very clean 🧼🛏️. We really appreciated that water and coffee were refilled daily ☕💧. Pool towels and a laundry service are also available — very convenient 👍. The pool is beautiful, large, and well-maintained 🏊♂️💙 — ideal for relaxing in the sun. The fitness studio is okay and offers everything you need for a quick workout 💪. The location is excellent: close to the beach 🏖️ and surrounded by shops and restaurants 🛍️🍜 — everything is within walking distance: night market, snake show, beach and much more. A special shout-out to the staff: very friendly, welcoming, and always helpful 😊🤝 — we felt at home from the first moment. The Hotel is a gem! We have stayed in several Ao Nang hotels over the years, and La Playa wins hands down. The shell of the building is solid, and at the time it was built the rooms were spacious and private - something a lot of modern hotels lack. The rooms have been extensively renovated and are modern, stylish and extremely comfortable. The soundproofing and the blackout curtains made for some of the best hotel sleeps we have had in years! The staff are very friendly and courteous, and the location to everything within Ao Nang is excellent. Breakfast is extensive and changes daily. We appreciated the fact that, unlike many places in Thailand, there wasn't too much meat and lots of vegetarian options - thank you, La Playa, for not turning the breakfast into a horrible meat-fest! The only improvement needed is the tea and coffee at breakfast...both tasted pretty awful, and with amazing Thai coffee available from the north of the country, we strongly recommend changing brands and getting some beans that taste good. Overall, a highly recommended place to stay, and superb value for money!
