Krabi Resort

The worst hotel experience we’ve ever had. When we arrived, we were given a room that staff claimed was an “upgrade.” In reality it was in terrible condition — mold damage, a disgusting smell, insects, and a standard nowhere near what we had booked. After complaining we were moved to another room. This one was extremely dirty. The furniture was filthy and worn out, the safe didn’t work, the air conditioning seemed defective, and there was even rotten fruit left in the refrigerator. Reception showed little interest in fixing the situation and blamed everything on the hotel being “old.” The situation was so unacceptable that we checked out before even staying a single night and found another hotel. Avoid.

The resort has a spacious room, which is a plus, though the furniture is quite old. Bathroom amenities were basic, and hair conditioner was not provided. Toothbrush and toothpaste were also not replenished daily. There were many mosquitoes around the resort, and breakfast was standard. Breakfast is served until 10:00 a.m., and a slightly longer timing would be appreciated. We noticed ants on some tables in the breakfast area, possibly due to the wooden furniture. One highlight was the wide selection of beverages available at breakfast.

Hotel is absolutely runned down. Poorly maintained rooms, cleanliness, and amenities. Please do not waste your money and time booking this place. There are way better resorts around Ao Nang for consideration. The breakfast buffet is also so horrible. There's not much of varieties. Food were left opened with flies roaming on the pastries and bread. Sheets were stained. Rooms very smelly. Bathroom taps and bidets were rusty and mouldy. Worthless for the price paid though the location is strategic. Krabi Resort just screwed up my anniversary staycation. Requested for 1 double bed but received twin bed. Lights in the room were horrendously dimmed and dark. This resort gives you the ******* vibe. Poorly litted at night. Front desk kept saying no more rooms. Never bothered to offer an upgrade of room. We had to fight for it and ended up having to share 1 pool villa with friends. Room cleaning service also is so slow and inefficient. Requested them to make up our rooms in the morning, they only come to clean around 3pm when we're back. Hopeless place for holiday with family and friends.

Nice resort

I was really disappointed with my stay at Krabi Resort. The hotel is very run down and needs a lot of work done to it. My room was full of mould and smelt damp, by the end of my stay I was poorly because of it. The bath wasn’t useable because the taps wouldn’t turn as they had so much limescale on them, the bath wasn’t useable damaged, there was a constant puddle in the bathroom behind the bathtub, mould on the ceiling, the shower wasn’t useable damaged broken and water was coming out of everywhere. Unfortunately the staff were unhelpful and just said that there were no more rooms available. I spent a lot of money on this hotel and was extremely disappointed, when I raised my concerns and trip spoke to the resort, they were not willing to give me my money back even after showing the poor condition I was subject to. Whilst the location was good, I certainly wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone, unless you want to end up poorly.

I felt it’s not safe for solo stay cause at the night there is no security around the resort and no proper visibility and direction to go to rooms and no buggy service available after 7pm

The location is good, but the service is extremely slow. I had to call four times for a fork and spoon, waited 40 minutes, and in the end I had to walk to reception to ask again - so in total I asked five times. On top of that, the water for the shower was dirty.
