Nakamanda Resort & Spa Reviews

For the last night of our trip, we wanted to get away from the crowds and truly unwind, so we chose Nakamanda Resort. It proved to be the perfect spot for travelers seeking peace and quiet. The resort is nestled in a tranquil beachfront area, offering a serene environment. Its Thai-style architecture truly enhances the holiday vibe. Enjoying a simple yet refined buffet breakfast while watching the sun slowly illuminate the sea was incredibly therapeutic. From 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM, they have Happy Hour with buy-one-get-one-free cocktails. We ordered two drinks and sat by the restaurant, watching the sunset and chatting. The ambiance was wonderful, making it the most romantic night of our entire trip. Overall, this resort is perfect for winding down a trip – quiet, comfortable, and ideal for slowing down and savoring the moment. If we return to Krabi and are looking for a truly relaxing escape, I would definitely choose Nakamanda again.

This was my second stay at this hotel. The front desk attendant who spoke Chinese had a lovely, sweet smile, and all the staff at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. The hotel facilities were fine, but I do hope for more variety at breakfast. The clear waters and complimentary water activities are a definite plus. We enjoyed beautiful sunsets in the evening and a stunning starry sky at night. My only complaint concerns the two-bedroom ocean view pool villa we booked this time. We stayed in room 2302, and the air conditioning vent had a design flaw: it was positioned directly above the main bed, and the noise was so loud that it kept us awake for several nights. We complained to the front desk, and they sent staff to adjust the vent to blow left, right, and upwards, but it didn't make a noticeable difference. We requested a room change, but the hotel was almost fully booked, so they couldn't accommodate us. Our request for an early check-out was also unsuccessful. To fellow travelers planning a stay: if you're booking a villa, I strongly recommend opting for the upper floor Sala Ocean View Villa. Do NOT book the type I stayed in, otherwise you'll truly regret it – it's a waste of money, and your overall experience will be severely compromised.

We wholeheartedly recommend Nakamanda. This hotel is a perfect blend of stylish design, impeccable service, and absolute privacy. The private pool villas are beautiful and secluded, offering a true sanctuary. The staff is exceptional—attentive, personalized, and always smiling. While the beach is small, the stunning tiered pool and the excellent, tranquil spa more than compensate. It's ideal for couples or anyone seeking a luxurious, peaceful retreat away from the crowds, yet still close enough to visit Ao Nang. A truly flawless and memorable experience.

Excellent resort located on a beautiful site.  The service was amazing.  The room was large and clean. We loved it!

Beautiful Hotel with friendly staff ! Very good valued room, great housekeeping service! Definitely willing to stay again in the future. Reasonably priced airport transfers, good value spa and great massage! Really quiet and beautiful over at the restaurant side. Loved the stay !!

Good stay, clean room and wonderful beach and shallow seabed. Gym and food could have been better.

Thoroughly enjoyed our 2 week stay at Nakamanda. The staff were wonderful ~friendly and helpful. Picturesque location with lots of local restaurants nearby and perfect for long beach walks. Amazing tidal variation so every walk was different. Our room was gorgeous, and the swimming pool huge. A little off the beaten track. Plenty of potential tours available to see the sights. Definitely recommended.

In Generally Hotel service and cleaning was perfect. The Bar and swimming pool staff are really great. Food on the restaurant is great, delicious ant the relation Proce & Quality is perfect. Just the Lobby staff need to improve the customer services, the rest is ok.

Lovely resort in a quiet location right on the beach. The staff were so friendly and welcoming which really makes the place. I stayed in a lower garden villa (not really a villa as such as there was one on top of mine), it was spacious, clean and nicely furnished. My room was surround by plants which made it feel like I was staying in the jungle. Really peaceful and only the birds singing to wake up to. Ate in the restaurant twice and the food was delicious. My only negative comment would be that I would say it’s more of a 4 star hotel. I would definitely stay again though

Best location to detoxify. You want to do nothing here. Sleep swim eat and repeat
