We spent one night here for an event. The room smelled musty of old furniture. The room furnishings had the charm of the 80s. There were two steps to the bathroom. The door didn't close properly and only closed with force. The smell in the room and the lack of air conditioning in very high outside temperatures meant that we had to sleep with the window open, unfortunately facing the street. Unfortunately, the room didn't have black-out curtains, as you would expect from a 4-star hotel, so the night was quite short. The breakfast was good, but absolutely average and was set up in the middle of the hallway, so you kept bumping into other guests and staff. The staff in general were nice and helpful, but gave an untrained and insecure impression, especially in the catering depar**ent. All in all, this was a less than comfortable stay and we seriously wonder why this hotel is allowed to have 4 stars. A maximum of three would be appropriate.
