Location is good with many eateries and banks within walking distance. There is a bustling night market nearby on fridays, saturdays and sundays where you can shop for local cuisines, fruits , clothes, personal needs, toys, etc.

Decent location, but its hotel room is obviously least maintained, especially the toilet. The room provided is dusty, and the air-conditioning can't adjust temperature, causing the room very hot.

From the receptionist service to the housekeeping, everyone was very kind. The room was spacious and comfortable. It is also close to the state mosque. However, the furniture and facilities in the hotel room are quite old, although they are still functioning well. So far, I’ve been comfortable staying here for 4 days and 3 nights.

The room was reasonably clean but could be improved, especially in certain areas that felt a bit overlooked. Excellent location—very convenient and close to key attractions and facilities around Kuantan. Staff were friendly and helpful overall, providing a good level of service during the stay. Facilities were quite limited and did not fully meet expectations. Some amenities need upgrading or better maintenance.

I don’t even know where to begin, this was, without a doubt, the most horrifying hotel experience of my life. The moment we stepped into the room, we were hit with the unmistakable smell of dust and mold. It wasn’t just “a bit unclean”, it felt like the room hadn’t been properly cleaned in ages. Dust coated surfaces, and the air itself felt unhealthy to breathe. We spent the entire time sneezing and coughing, as if the room was actively working against us. And the towels? Absolutely unbelievable. Torn, worn out, and looking like they had been chewed up, honestly, I’ve seen rags in better condition. It’s shocking that something like that would ever be given to paying guests. What made matters worse was the staff. Instead of being helpful, they were unfriendly and unnecessarily difficult. Even something as simple as requesting a towel turned into an interrogation. It felt exhausting just trying to get basic service. We were completely stuck having already paid and with other hotels fully booked, we had no choice but to endure it. We avoided the room as much as possible, staying out all day and only returning late at night to sleep, dreading every moment inside. Frankly, this place should not even be open to guests in its current condition. Our worst nightmare!!!!!!

We only stayed here for a night, but it was a terrible experience. The smell from the hotel entrance was already strong, and the room had a similar smell, probably from the old carpet. This smell even lingered in the elevator. The toilet was also covered in mould, and the hotel clearly needed a deep clean. For the price we paid, it was overpriced. We’ve stayed in cheaper budget hotels as a backpacker, but this three-star hotel didn’t meet our expectations.

The receptionist told me the housekeeper closed at 11pm, while I needed the toothpaste and toothbrush never provided, as their claim no more stock... The kettle seems old and dirty, not going to use it too, there a dusty decor cabinet too at the top

Overall, everything was fine, but the bathroom could be cleaner as there was some mold.

The hotel is centrally located and a walking distance to the State Mosque. We have stayed here several times before and satisfied with the room and services. The room was clean and quite spacious with a nice view of the town.

Always a good location to stay in Kuantan. You can have a very nice view of Sultan Ahmad Mosque & Kuantan River from the level 11 of your room.
