I strongly advise against booking this hotel
I booked this hotel for three consecutive nights, mainly because the price and the photos looked reasonable. However, it turned out to be one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had. After checking in and seeing the condition of the room, I tried to cancel the remaining two nights, but my request was denied.
Below are the issues I personally experienced:
1. Excessively long waiting times
From check-in to basic service requests, everything took far too long.
2. Concerning hygiene standards
The hotel did provide towels, but they were yellowed and visibly worn. This alone raises serious questions about cleanliness.
3. Humidity and strong moldy smell
The moment I entered the room, I was hit by heavy humidity and a strong moldy odor. The room did not feel comfortable or breathable at all.
4. Very poor swimming pool condition
The pool water was in unacceptable condition—by far the worst I have seen in any hotel.
5. Unusually high deposit
The deposit was 500 MYR, which is even higher than the room rate itself. This is unreasonable for a hotel at this level.
6. Key card loss deduction
When I misplaced the room key, the hotel deducted 300 MYR from the deposit. Again, this amount is higher than the nightly room rate.
7. Bed bugs in a supposed 5-star hotel
Shockingly, both my spouse and I were bitten by bed bugs during our stay.
It is unbelievable that a hotel claiming to be 5-star, in the capital city, would have such an issue.
Conclusion
Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this hotel under any circumstances.
Based on my experience, I am confident that anyone who books this place will regret it.
