A Stay to Forget: Not Recommended
This past stay was a huge disappointment, making it hard to believe this hotel still considers itself 5-star. The room was far from properly cleaned, which is unacceptable for any hotel, let alone one claiming such a high rating. Adding to the outdated feel, the iron was an old model, hinting that the hotel might be undergoing a very slow refurbishment process or perhaps not at all.
However, the most frustrating part of the experience was the rude staff at the parking exit. Despite having registered my car's plate number with the concierge, we were still charged to leave. When we questioned this, the staff member inexplicably scolded us. This kind of confrontational and unhelpful behavior from hotel staff completely detracts from any semblance of a luxury experience.
Overall, this hotel has significantly lost its status as a five-star establishment. I definitely won't be coming again or suggesting it to anyone.

Arrived at the hotel at 1.30pm and the room was ready, the front desk staff gave permission to early check in. Everything in the room was good. 2 bottle complimentary drink. The linen was clean and comfy. The hotel lobby smell so great, the hotel also provided welcoming drink.
But the breakfast was totally not satisfied. No croisant !! I was so frustrated. Even the butter and strawberry jem was late to be refill. The egg counter slow progress anf got many people waiting for the egg. And the indian food not very interesting. If this is the standard of your buffet breakfast, next time i will not include them because not worth it. The staff at pastry section also not mesra pelanggan.

As usual, excellent amenities and service. I was upgraded from a Deluxe Room to a Deluxe Classic Room once more. I appreciate the kind service provided by the receptionist on duty on Saturday, April 26 at around 2:00pm. I believe I have dealt with you before, but I still neglected to ask for your name. The same goes for Ruby, who was on duty at the Atrium Lounge when I stopped by to unwind and enjoy a light meal. She was friendly and knowledgeable. I hope the Sunway Putra Hotel in KL continues to provide the greatest service.

My countless times to stay over at Sunway Putra Hotel. What i need to say more about this hotel: From easy parking, friendly concierge staffs, helpful receptionist, good spread of buffet, nice view from the room, room with good amenities to a well decent mall connected to the hotel. We will definitely be back again and again.

Had a lovely stay! The room was spacious and comfortable. Really enjoyed the breakfast spread – a great variety and delicious too. Overall, a pleasant experience.

Next to the Putra World Trade Centre light rail station, this relaxed hotel in a modern tower block is also 3 km from both the iconic Petronas Towers and the Central Market.

Hotel lobby on 9th floor and carpark 5th floor onwards. Check into the room on 11th floor with noisy aircon . Changed to room on 30th floor... a lot bigger . Room is quite new with balcony. But housekeeping so so. No cleaning done to the table and counter top. Not top up free tea and coffee. I doubt they change the bedsheet. Anyway just stay for 4 nights. At least bath towels replace everyday. Below hotel is Sunway Putra Mall. Full of shops and restaurants. No local Chinese food. Traffic is quite bad outside. Luckily this building is link to train station. Convenient to the train to TRX. Ok with this stay.
