Mandarin Oriental, Kuala Lumpur

Our stay at the Mandarin Oriental Kuala Lumpur was, overall, a very satisfying experience. The heritage and service standards of this super five-star hotel are definitely still top-notch. **Location:** Almost impeccable, right next to the Petronas Twin Towers and KLCC Park. Suria KLCC is within walking distance, making it incredibly convenient for shopping, dining, and city sightseeing. It’s truly a prime location in Kuala Lumpur. **Room:** The room size and comfort were both excellent. It maintained the Mandarin Oriental's consistent elegant style, the bedding was comfortable, and the cleanliness was meticulously done. If you can book a Twin Towers view room, the experience is significantly enhanced, especially with the stunning night views. **Service:** We were able to check in early at 11 AM – a huge plus for this hotel! The front desk, concierge, and room service were all generally professional. Staff members were naturally courteous and discreet, reflecting the service quality expected from a long-established luxury hotel. **Facilities:** The pool, gym, and spa facilities are all comprehensive. The pool environment, in particular, is excellent, facing KLCC Park and offering a strong resort-like feel. **Breakfast:** The variety was quite rich, and the overall quality was good. However, it can get crowded during peak hours, and occasional queuing might be necessary. **Overall:** This is a classic luxury hotel with outstanding advantages in 'location + views + service.' While the hotel's style isn't the trendy minimalist modern route, it offers a more mature, steady, and classic feel. It's highly recommended for first-time visitors to Kuala Lumpur, especially those who prioritize location and the Twin Towers view.

This established five-star hotel is simply superb! The location is excellent, the rooms are a good size, and the pool is great. The bell staff were very enthusiastic. Overall, a fantastic experience!

Staying at the Mandarin Oriental during my trip to Kuala Lumpur was an absolutely fantastic experience. The hotel's location is superb, within walking distance to the Petronas Twin Towers, making it incredibly convenient for sightseeing and shopping. The rooms are clean and elegant, with meticulous attention to hygiene, and offer expansive city views. Every staff member was attentive, polite, and provided thoughtful service with just the right amount of discretion. The hotel's facilities are top-notch and comprehensive, contributing to an overall wonderful atmosphere. Both the hardware and the service truly live up to its reputation. It was very comfortable for a family trip, and I will definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Kuala Lumpur. Highly recommended!

Centrally located in the business district, with direct access to the Petronas Twin Towers and KLCC mall, and close to Pavilion. Dining options are plentiful with many great restaurants nearby. Mandarin Oriental's service is consistently excellent, and this Kuala Lumpur location is no exception. The cleanliness is quite good compared to many other hotels, although the water quality issue (a common problem) still results in some cloudiness. The hotel breakfast offers a wide variety of choices, and the taste is decent. The room is relatively spacious and the facilities are well-maintained.

Everything else was great, but the soundproofing in the room was really bad. I stayed in 2503, and I could hear everything the people next door were saying at night, clear as day. It was driving me crazy. Other than that, everything was good. The facilities are a bit old though.

The location is good, right next to the Petronas Twin Towers and with a park behind it. However, it's a bit too close to the Twin Towers to get good photos, and you can't see them from the pool either. The photo angles aren't as good as the W Hotel. The room is a bit small. There are also very few front desk staff who speak Chinese. But it's very convenient to go to the complex under the Twin Towers for meals.

What can I say, the Mandarin Oriental is simply wonderful. They have spectacular facilities, along with competent and very kind staff. It was an unforgettable stay, right next to the Petronas Towers, with a complete gym for weight training and machines, and an incredible breakfast.

I rarely put this much effort into writing a positive review, but a good hotel can truly make a trip enjoyable. Traveling with my child from Singapore to Kuala Lumpur, I meticulously chose and booked the Mandarin Oriental. Its location is excellent, right next to the Petronas Towers. Although there was a minor hiccup during check-in, the hotel's front desk manager provided excellent service, promptly resolving the issue and upgrading us to a Petronas Towers view room. Every front desk manager we encountered during our stay was superb! 👍🏻 Especially one tall, handsome gentleman who I consistently saw patiently assisting guests. At check-out, we even received complimentary hotel macarons, which really showed how much the hotel values its guests. I believe this all stems from their excellent management philosophy. I highly recommend booking a Petronas Towers view room; you get a beautiful view right from your room. The hotel's swimming pool is also great, with good service and a bar by the pool. It's very convenient if you don't want to go out for dinner, and it really gives you a vacation vibe. This trip was a bit rushed, but I will definitely choose the Mandarin Oriental again on my next visit to Kuala Lumpur.
