We spent our new year here. And happy that we’ve got a great deal here at IBIs before it was fully booked. The room is clean and my kids got an amazing time at the rooftop pool. Surely, we will book here if we can back in KL.

Check in process was surprisingly fast, good job. Breakfast choices not so much, overall still ok. Shower area was flooded, shower head holder spoiled, problem fixed after hotel sent technician to fix it. However, basin water flow was very slow. Only single pillow given, not double like other hotels. Bed was too soft.

Very center, walking distance to the Twin Tower and elsewhere. Helpful staff supported us to check in late. Checkout was fast. Room is clean and quiet. Highly recommended.

The location is decent, about 800 meters from the Petronas Twin Towers; you can see them by turning right out of the hotel and walking straight. The lobby was cozy and had a lovely Christmas atmosphere. It was very convenient to have power outlets by the bed that didn't require an adapter. However, the cleanliness was just average. The worst part was the front desk service; they were cold and unfriendly. A male staff member claimed I had no reservation, and even after showing him my confirmation, he still refused to check me in. I had to make an international call to Ctrip. Soon after, a plump woman who seemed to be a supervisor came out and processed my check-in, but she had a sour expression and offered no apology. Such service shouldn't be the management style of an Ibis hotel, yet it genuinely happened at the Ibis Kuala Lumpur City Centre.

The hotel's location is excellent, very close to the Petronas Towers. The dining options nearby are decent. Hotel service was pretty average; our room hadn't been cleaned by past 2 PM. The hotel's pool is quite small, but it's perfect for taking photos around sunrise.

Ibis Kuala Lumpur City Centre is definitely my top choice for city trips! It's a 10-minute walk to the Petronas Towers, close to the LRT station and several shopping malls, making transportation and shopping super convenient. The rooms are clean and tidy, with a comfortable 40-inch TV and a rainfall shower. The free WiFi is stable. The rooftop infinity pool on the 31st floor offers amazing views, perfect for stunning evening photos. Breakfast includes both Malay and international cuisine. The staff are friendly and even allowed early check-in. It offers incredible value for money, and I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Kuala Lumpur!
