Tropicana the residence klcc Kuala by gold suites

I didn't get the room I paid for. It was supposed to have a view of the twin towers, but it didn't. The staff didn't respond to my request to be moved to the correct room, which is unfortunate.

Apartment 27-05 is not acceptable for the price charged. The apartment was not properly cleaned. The sofa was old, and broken furniture was kept inside the apartment. The toilet was dirty and had black stains, indicating poor cleaning standards. The main and most serious issue was the presence of bed bugs in the bed, which is completely unacceptable. This place is not hygienic and not clean, and I would not recommend it to anyone.

I had a very pleasant stay at Tropicana The Residence KLCC by Gold Suites. The location is excellent, right in the heart of Kuala Lumpur and within walking distance to KLCC, making it very convenient for sightseeing, dining, and shopping. The unit was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a great city view that made the stay even more enjoyable. The check-in process was smooth, and the staff were friendly and responsive whenever assistance was needed. Overall, the environment felt safe and well maintained, which gave me peace of mind throughout the stay. Feedback for improvement: while everything else was satisfactory, the furniture cabinets in the unit appear a bit old and could benefit from refurbishment or upgrading to match the otherwise modern setting of the residence. Despite this minor point, I would still recommend Tropicana The Residence KLCC by Gold Suites for its prime location, comfort, and good service, and I would be happy to stay here again in the future.

Hello Room condition was okay, they missed shower towels and I had to wait until they brought new. Rest all good great location and response quickly

Pros: One of the best view I have gotten in KL compared with other homestay or hotel I have stayed before. The host was also nice to let us check in slightly early than the stated time in the booking. They also upgraded us from menara view room to the KLCC view. It was really stunning to be viewing KLCC this close and from our bed. Other than that it was basically nightmare. Cons: 5 star accommodation with 1 star cleanliness and 2 star amenties. . We were at the lobby waiting for host to pass us the unit key which took around 15 to 20 minutes despite the host said he is on the way. When we arrived our room at 3pm after gotten our key from host, when we try to enter the room then suddenly 2 men open the door from the unit which scares us, but it was their cleaner. I was shocked that cleaner was still in the room when we already gotten our key, feel a bit insecure. . Room cleanliness was horrendous. Upon arrival in the room, the whole unit had super strong detergent or cleaner smell which I am not sure was from the bed sheet, towel they changed but it was unpleasant despite it wasn't smelly but stucked in the unit even until we have checked out after 2 nights. My pyjamas was all stucked with the smell after 1 night. The floor in the rooms are sticky, stains and dirt all around the carpet and sofa area which i believe they never changed or cleaned. It feel like they just used 1 mop to wipe the entire unit once and thats it. Kitchen facilities like electric stove was oily and sticky and pots provided were also at a rundown condition which we do not dare to use. ***Ultimate red flag - tons of cockroaches (like really a lot) at the kitchen area at the fridge cabinet, dish washer and near the sink. We highlighted the issue to the host but it seems like they think it is normal and just ignore my feedback about the cockroaches. . Amenties - bathroom was okay with toothbrush, shampoo and shower gel provided. toiletbowl outside the room has some strong odor which i found it was caused by unpleasant dirty feaces stucked behind the toilerbowl cover not cleaned throughout and again the strong cleaner smell try to cover it but i still smell odor. Master room bathroom cabinet were broken which water dripped down from the cabinet when you use it causing floor to be wet. Again the cleanliness was horrible with a lot of stains on wall and dirt at corner of entire unit. . Despite it was stated during booking checkout time is at 2pm for daimond member but we were informed by their staff to check out at 12pm. We got slightly earlier check in so we did not argue but check out at 11 something. Overall it was a really luxurious, high end condo with one of the most stunning view but it was a waste that the host did not manage it well.
