I really enjoyed the hotel accommodations, the staff are nice, they take initiatives to supply what I need in the room and privacy is well respected. As a tourist, the location is perfect. It is so convenient going to Chinatown and the train station is nearby. The breakfast is also excellent. Furthermore, the price per night is so affordable. Very recommendable and would love to come back to stay here again.

We love our stay as Chinatown (Jalan Petaling) is just across the road where we get to eat our childhood street food. Easy access to MRT/LRT and Monorail. Central Market is only 10min walk away. The room is spacious and beds are big for our twin room. We have a fab view of Merdeka 118 from our room.

This stay was highly disappointing. The overall cleanliness of the room was poor, and there were visible stains on the bed sheets. To make matters worse, I even found a cockroach in the room. On top of that, the housekeeping staff came way too early in the morning and woke me up, completely ruining my rest. The hotel seriously needs to address its hygiene standards and staff training.

Facilities: Pretty good, I had a comfortable stay. There were two large complimentary glass bottles of water, which I liked because it was a generous amount! There were also two packs of 'weird-flavored' jelly beans, which were decent.
Cleanliness: Clean, no issues.
Environment: There's a night market nearby, along with many restaurants and cafes, which is great.
Service: They tried their best, so I'll give them four stars.

Great location, right in Chinatown and just a 5-minute walk to the MRT station. It's also quite close to Pavilion and Merdeka Square – about a 10-15 minute walk if the weather isn't too hot, though sometimes you find yourself having to hug the edge of the road. The hotel ambiance is lovely, with the typical Moxy vibe. The in-room facilities are consistent with the brand, and the high-floor rooms offer excellent views, including the AIA building.
As for soundproofing, don't expect too much. I've stayed at two hotels here and neither had double-glazed windows, so you can still hear the street noise outside. My main annoyance was that the dust in the air vents had grown into a thick fuzz – it clearly hasn't been cleaned in ages, meaning you're breathing in dusty air.

Had a pleasant experience staying with the hotel. The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. Wi-Fi was occasionally unreliable, but overall it was a convenient, relaxing stay I would recommend for short trips.

A hidden 3-star gem with a 4-star feel—perfect for couples! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
”My partner and I stayed here recently and were incredibly impressed. We booked it expecting a standard 3-star budget experience, but the property honestly punches well above its weight class and feels much closer to a 4-star boutique hotel.
The location on Jalan Hang Lekiu is brilliant for a couple's trip—it’s just a 5-minute walk to the Masjid Jamek LRT station, making it incredibly easy to explore the city, and we loved being so close to Chinatown/Petaling Street for evening food runs.
The room was clean, modern, and surprisingly quiet given the central location. The bedding and mattress were excellent, ensuring a great night's sleep. We were also surprised to find a well-equipped fitness room and a handy self-service laundry setup, which are premium amenities you don't always get at this price point. If you want luxury comfort on a 3-star budget, this is the spot. We will absolutely be back!

I would definitely recommend Santa Grand Classic for anyone who wants a quick staycation / vacation. The room size was just nice, the staff were so helpful. We requested for sejadah, bathrobes, and a bucket for a mandi bunga session - and they helped accomodate all of it. Their breakfast buffet was good, its not the biggest spread but has enough. Theres a pool too available at the rooftop. There wasn’t any loud noises either at night.
The only improvement I’d suggest is - upgrading the electronics (iron, hairdryer and tv) but apart from that everything is a-okay 10/10 would reccomend! ✨

AAnonymous UserAmenities: Comprehensive, even offering city walk maps for guests. The common areas are quite distinctive and there's a water heater.
Cleanliness: Acceptable.
Environment: Not far from Chinatown and the subway station, but this area has quite a few older gentlemen, so a solo female traveler or two might feel a bit uneasy walking at night.
Service: The front desk staff speaks Chinese and the service was very attentive. They also helped with luggage storage on the second day.

GGuest UserThe we stayed at the Lavana hotel for 3 nights. It was super conveniently located, basically across the road from the station which had 2 lines interchanging and buses. Also in the immediate area are several good coffee shops & bakeries and a laundromat. It was easy to walk around Chinatown and the Sentral market. The room was fine, a decent size, bed and air con were also good. Towels had seen better days though. Would have been nice to have a fridge and some extra plug sockets or usb sockets for charging but it wasn’t good value so I can’t complain too much.

GGuest UserService: There's a front desk, making check-in and check-out very convenient. Environment: It's 400 meters from the subway station, a 15-minute walk to Pavilion KL, and other attractions are also nearby. Facilities: The hotel doesn't provide disposable toiletries or slippers, but it does have a washing machine. Hygiene: The hygiene is quite poor. The bathroom had a strange smell, and there were especially many cockroaches, countless cockroaches.

MM&FtravelThe room had everything needed. It's a shame the elevator didn't work with our key card; we had to bother the front desk every time we went up or down.

DDmitriMayI recommend it. For this price, it's a great choice! The hotel contacted me immediately after booking. I got there from the airport by metro without any problems. I found the hotel. I lived on the 10th floor. The hotel reception is on the 4th floor. Below is the bus station and offices. The room is clean and cozy. Chinatown is very close. I walked to the Petronas Twin Towers and other attractions. I liked everything. I will come again!🙂 (Especially since I forgot my hat when I left early))) now I definitely need to come back)
