Natural Hot Spring Higo no Yu Onyado Nono Kumamoto

The hotel's location is excellent. It's about a 10-minute walk from the Kumamoto Bus Terminal after taking a bus from Fukuoka. The commercial district, Kumamoto tram, and Kumamoto Castle are all nearby and easily accessible on foot. The hygiene is impeccable; you even take off your shoes upon entering the lobby, storing them in shoe lockers on the first floor. The front desk service was superb. We stayed for three nights and changed rooms once, and they immediately allowed us to check in, without making us wait until 3 PM. When we looked lost outside, they promptly provided us with a map, suggestions, and directions. The deluxe twin room, a Japanese-style room, is quite spacious by Japanese standards and elegantly decorated. The washing area, shower, and toilet are three separate, independent spaces. The onsen (hot spring) on the 11th floor is also very clean, with a pleasant environment. Afterward, there are free ice pops and a relaxation area. Free ramen is served at 9:30 PM, which was also delicious. There's free coffee on the first floor, and the breakfast is abundant and exquisite, with a high 'eatability' factor. All in all, I hope to have the chance to stay here again.

The hotel is located in Kumamoto's Shimotori, right outside there's a bustling street perfect for a stroll, and it's also very convenient to walk to Kumamoto Castle. The Japanese breakfast buffet offers a wide variety of delicious options. In the evenings, they even serve somen noodles as a late-night snack. On the 11th floor, there's a hot spring bath area. It's not huge, but it's perfectly adequate, similar to a public bathhouse in China, and even has an outdoor soaking tub.

I really loved the hotel's design. Our English and Japanese aren't great, but the staff were very patient. We also got to enjoy the hot springs, and the hygiene was excellent. After a few days here, exploring a lot, we're off to our next stop, Fukuoka.

I can only say I'm very satisfied. I didn't expect the group purchase I spontaneously booked last year to be so good. The breakfast was plentiful, and there was a jelly that was slightly tart and sweet that I still think about. The hotel's hot spring was great too; you could see on the TV interface which hot springs were currently empty and available to use. After soaking, I'd drink a Yakult, sweat a little, and then sleep. I felt much more refreshed.

This Japanese onsen hotel met all my expectations. Every day after coming back, I could enjoy a hot spring bath. Inside, there's one hot and one cold bath, plus a sauna. Outside, there's an open-air hot spring. After bathing, you can choose from four types of ice cream and read Japanese manga for free. You can also pay for a massage. For the late-night snack from 9:30 PM to 11:00 PM, they offer matcha and hot chocolate, along with a vegetarian ramen that comes with a quarter-egg. Overall, I looked forward to returning to the hotel every day after my excursions. I'll definitely stay here again next time.

The hotel is so unique! You take off your shoes when you enter and walk barefoot throughout the entire hotel. The hallways, elevators, and rooms are all spotlessly clean – it's really comfortable. The whole Japanese style is very fresh and minimalist, and the onsen water is crystal clear.
