As it is not near the JR station, you need to take a tram to get there. But it is near the castle and the arcade where there are many stalls to shop. Service is excellent. The bed is quite comfortable too.

Hotel is a little old but staffs are friendly and location is just opposite Kumamoto castle.

The hotel employees all of them were showed a good attitude and communication was no problem for foreigners. The location is great — it’s close to Kumamoto Castle, and there’s a shopping mall just about a 10-minute walk away. I made a reservation for a triple room for two nights. The sofa bed was uncomfortable, and the air conditioner could not adjust the airflow direction, which caused us to catch a cold. One more thing, the room key had to be returned and kept at the counter whenever we went out for the day.

The location here is super convenient for shopping, right next to Kami-Shinjo, and there are plenty of places to eat and buy things. There's also a shuttle bus from Tsutenkaku to Fukuoka and the airport. The only downside is that the room feels a bit old.

Had a very good stay in this hotel. I got a room that was probably renovated recently(not all rooms are renovated!). Everything looks brand new and modern. The room is spacious with a large toilet split into 3 sections. This hotel is value for money

Location of this hotel is very convenient! With great Castle view! Room is spacious and clean! Staff are helpful and nice, even met one speak Cantonese👍 Definitely will recommend this hotel to friends and of course will stay here on my next trip!👍👍👍
