A normal decent and clean hotel. Slightly small but still manageable. Lesser amenities compared to some other Daiwa Roynet I’ve been to. There is Kumamoto castle view though.

Amazing experience I loved the cleanliness and convenience. Have tried other Daiwa roynet before, it's really my favorite chain hotel!! The quality is so good. Will highly recommend!!

The hotel room was good but I felt there were not all the amenities which you would expect at a business hotel, esp the morning routine kit - tooth brush, shaving kit, comb, etc. You can optionally choose to have breakfast at the hotel for which you need to pay (unless it’s included in your booking), but the breakfast isn’t that great tbh. So, it felt a little overpriced for the view and amenities it offered. The best part was the location, as it’s right in the center and has easy access to the shopping streets nearby and also to the Bus Terminal. Overall, a decent business hotel to stay in.

This is a great budget hotel in Japan, very clean and with high hygiene standards. The location is excellent, close to the tram station, Kumamoto Castle, and a bustling shopping street, making it super convenient for dining, drinking, and exploring. The service is attentive, there's a self-service laundry room, and the bedding is comfortable for a good night's sleep. The staff are all friendly and can speak English. The standard rooms are a bit small, and rooms facing the street can be a little noisy with no real view. The breakfast offers a good variety, and the potato salad is delicious. They also have fruit 🍉 Overall, it offers great value for money and is a top choice in downtown Kumamoto.

Superb location! The room and bathroom are massive—way bigger than your typical business hotel. Breakfast was solid, and I got a lucky room with a view of Kumamoto Castle! Just a heads-up though: if you’re driving, it’s a hassle. You have to park in a separate building a block away.
