Taj Kumarakom Resort and Spa Kerala

Very nice property on back waters…resort has water body in centre which is good to look at Good quality is good and service was good Rooms are good size but need renovation now as don’t seem like 5 star standard

Wonderful property. Everything is well thought of.we were upgraded basis of availability. Food was simply amazing. Staffs are very courteous. Overall experience was really good. Special thanks to Ms. Priya and team for the wonderful hospitality. I would love to come back here sometimes soon again

Our stay at Taj Kumarakom was amazing. My family enjoyed the serene nature and the way the place is maintained. Loads of activity to keep you entertained within the property itself. Kids loved the cycling, fishing, cultural events. Just spending time by the lake bed is so relaxing. The place in itself is nothing less than venice. with its own canals and lagoons, there was not a moment, when we diidnt want to explore more about the property. Front office staff led by Priya are very friendly and welcoming. I feel quality of food at the restaurant was not upto Taj standard other wise rest was just fabulous.

The stay is very calm and peaceful. The rooms were nice. The resort is done so well and we had a lovely time with a pool view room. Special mention Mr. noyal and Ms. priya ensured every moment is memorable. The food was little spicy but very good. Overall good.

Beautiful hotel with lot of greenery . But lack the service quality a lot. Rooms need major upgrade in electricity Water supply pressure etc. be prepared for power cut atleast five times in a day . Even with genset kickin within a minute reconnecting TV and internet is a problem each time. Need to wait atleast five minutes to get hot water in shower and be prepared for fiction in hot and cold water supply as well as very low pressure in shower. Very relaxed atmosphere and things move very slow even checking in also.

The equilibrium between water bodies (lake and canals), greenery (lawns tall trees and short plants and bushes lotus pond ) walking pathways, fish, birds, geese and peace and quiet all in one property is both intriguing and brings one closer to nature!! The open reception with a table in the corridor of the main bunglow is a unique concept. A traditional welcome by Ms. Gayatri (has pleasing manners) followed by coconut water was refreshing. Ms Priya helped us in planning our itinerary and enquired if we needed anything making our stay comfortable. The upgrade to a higher category villa was indeed a welcome surprise😄 Mr. Sandanam C and his team were there everyday at Vembanad Bistro to ensure we enjoyed our meals which were both tasty and healthy. The filter coffee was fabulous (out of this world) A forgotton tradition in IHCl Taj hotels these days of the top Management meeting and interacting with the guests was brought alive by Mr. Mayank Mittal (GM) who met us at breakfast one morning. It reminded me of Mr. Prabhat Verma and Gateway hotels and the warmth and welcome we always felt at every Gateway property. In fact Mr. Mittal and me had a discussion about the same👍 House keeping staff, the bugymen and security guards at the entry gate are all doing an excellent job. The dance performances are wonderful and the performers know their craft well. The mesmerizing sunset and Ms. Akshaya's (service with a smile) snacks at Chayakada are the highlight of every evening. The tea is too good. Thank you Mr. Mittal and the entire team at Taj Kumarakom for a peaceful and wonderful experience 😄😀

It was a very good stay nice hospitality staff are very friendly specially Priya & Visal, room are very good pool also superb in pool one instructor is there he was also very friendly! I will visit again for sure 👍nice climate superb breakfast 👍

Our experience at Taj kumarakum was wonderful. We were extremely happy to experience serene atmosphere, excellently maintained room facing the lagoon. The facilities offered was great and the property was well maintained. All the staff were courteous that made our stay comfortable there. Mr Vishnu made sure that my daughter enjoyed and was comfortable in the swimming pool. Ms. Priya made sure that all our needs and queries were addressed. In all we had a great experience.

My precious watch being stolen from the room. And no action being taken. this experience i never expect from Taj Group of Hotels. At least the follow up and the status of enquiry is not being shared to me. I will never recommend this property to any of my friend and relative.
