Spring Garden Kundasang

Mr Lee made our stay especially memorable and comfortable. The location was great and conveniently situated near most of the popular attractions, with the iconic Mount Kinabalu only about a 15 minutes drive away. We could even enjoy a beautiful view of Mount Kinabalu right from the porch. The living area comes with a heater. The bathroom was spacious, with a bathtub as well as a separate shower area. There is no TV, but that didn’t bother us at all as our days were already packed with activities. The room itself was cozy. There is no air-conditioning, but you won't need it. Temperature dropped to around 19°C at night during our stay. While there isn’t a room heater, the bed comes with a heating function, which kept us warm and comfortable throughout the night. The road leading to the property can be a little bumpy and slightly confusing for first time visitors, but the views make it well worth the journey. Overall, we had a very pleasant and memorable stay. Thank you, Mr Lee, for making everything so easy and comfortable for us.

The room was exactly as shown in the photos uploaded by Spring Garden. It was clean, comfortable, and very quiet at night, allowing us to have a great night's sleep. The surroundings were beautiful and filled with greenery, and we were able to enjoy a stunning view of Mt. Kinabalu right from our room early in the morning. Mr. Lee has been very helpful throughout our stay and we truly appreciate that. Breakfast was simple but sufficient, and it was served at H Benjamin Residence, another accommodation located about a 5-minute drive away. The only downside was the condition of the road leading to Spring Garden, as well as the path from the parking area to our room. We had to walk across uneven grassy ground, which could be challenging, especially for elderly guests or those with mobility issues. If possible, it would be great if a concrete walkway could be built to provide easier and safer access to the rooms.

It was an awesome experience staying at Spring Garden. The host, Mr Lee, went all out to ensure our stay was comfortable. When it rained, he brought umbrellas and placed outside our house. He helped carried our luggage to and from our car, right to our doorstep. When we were tired and didn't wish to drive out for dinner, he offered to pack food for us and suggested a few places for us to consider. We couldn't have asked for a better host and are very grateful for his warm hospitality. The house is very clean, mountain air fresh and the surroundings just so beautiful. Driving around Kundasang area, am so thankful we selected Spring Garden Kundasang for our stay. Some of the accommodation we saw were quite rundown, surroundings were noisy and parking was difficult. Spring Garden Kundasang offered a restful respite away from the hustle and bustle. We are so glad we made the right choice. Thank you once again, Mr Lee.

Stayed one night at The Spring Kundasang and it was worth every bit of the experience. While the unit doesn’t come with a TV or air-conditioning, its value lies in the thoughtful luxuries — a stunning garden overlooking Mount Kinabalu, heated floors, a heated drying rack, a bathtub, premium bathroom fittings, and a Samsung speaker that makes you realize good music is all you need. It’s the perfect escape from the city for a peaceful recharge. Special thanks to Jun, the manager, who was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay via WhatsApp. And the food at H Benjamin Residence is really good and pricing is ok too ✨

We had a wonderful honeymoon stay at Spring Garden. The atmosphere was peaceful, romantic, and very welcoming. Our room was clean, comfortable, and perfect for relaxing together. We really enjoyed the calm surroundings and cozy ambiance. The staff were friendly and attentive, especially Mr. Lee, who was very helpful and made our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, it was a lovely experience and a great place for a honeymoon getaway.

very unsuitable for bringing small children... exposed to danger.. room too far away.. very scary at night without any security guarantee.. not worth the expensive fee...

The view, despite rainy weather for 2 days, is spectacular. The room is entirely made of wood which was relaxing. Getting to the property requires some driving on gravel/dirt road but a normal sedan would do as fine. Since cooking is not allowed in the property, I’d suggest doing a research in advance.

Very beautiful garden with a tracking trail leading to a river waiting for the visitors to discover themselves as there are no signboard. Clean and comfortable. The road leading to the spring garden is not tarred, so the 1km road is a bit bumpy.

The place is such a dream! So beautiful & very relaxing, away from the bustling city. Just that the resort itself is a distance away from the restaurant. Definitely need your own transportation. But the staff are so helpful especially Mr Lee. He takes care of us very well. He helps to send us to & fro to the restaurant during our breakfast session. He even helps to decorate our room to suprise my husband for his birthday celebration.
