Great view and nice place to stay and relax. Staffs are friendly to everyone

Hotel views of mountain is good, rooms were cleaned. Only problem was we were all 60s so rooms given to us was way below the slope where we have to climb the stairs was quite steep. Tv reception was bad. Good for young couples.

Came back to Kundasang recently and decided to book Ayana again since I had a good experience previously. The place still has the same peaceful atmosphere that I remembered, which is one of the reasons I like staying here. The room was straightforward but comfortable. In the evenings the temperature drops and the whole area becomes very calm and quiet. I also appreciate that parking is easy and the surroundings feel quite spacious compared to some places closer to town. Overall the stay was enjoyable and relaxing, especially with the cool mountain weather and fresh air around the property. Safe to say I’ll be coming back again the next time I’m in Kundasang.

I came to Kundasang alone just to take a short break from work and decided to stay here for a night. I spent most of the evening just enjoying the fresh air outside. Overall it was a relaxing stay and I left feeling quite refreshed.

Booked this place last minute through Agoda and managed to get a really good rate, which was a nice surprise. I was attending a short work course at Mount Kinabalu National Park, so the location turned out to be very convenient since it’s within walking distance from the park entrance. The room itself was simple but comfortable enough after a long day of classes and activities. There’s also a small café nearby with reasonably priced food, which made things easy when I didn’t feel like driving out. Parking was not an issue either as there was ample space around the property. Overall I quite liked the place — quiet, practical, and good value for the price. Would consider staying here again if I come back for another course or visit to the park.

My first time try Ayana when I travel Kundasang by myself. The place quite peaceful and not very crowded. Room not fancy but clean and comfortable to sleep. Weather also very cold at night which I like. For short stay I think it’s okay and worth trying.

We traveled with two young children and found the environment safe and comfortable. The open garden space allowed the kids to move around freely while we relaxed nearby. The family room was spacious enough for everyone to sleep comfortably. Basic amenities were provided, and the room was clean upon arrival. Staff were patient when assisting us with meal recommendations suitable for children. It’s not a resort filled with entertainment facilities, but for a simple and affordable family trip to Ranau, it met our expectations.
