The most striking flaw was the lack of cleanliness in the rooms. Upon checking in, we discovered that the room had not been thoroughly cleaned. Stains on the bedding, dust on the furniture, and a musty odor made it evident that proper housekeeping standards were not maintained. Given the price point and reputation of Fariyas Resort, this level of negligence was unacceptable. Even after notifying the staff, the response was lackluster, and no significant effort was made to rectify the situation promptly. The dining experience at the resort also left much to be desired. During the buffet, there was a noticeable lack of supervision, leading to several disturbing instances. Most concerning was the sight of unsupervised children putting their hands directly into food dispensers, causing hygiene concerns. Despite bringing this to the attention of the staff, there was no immediate action taken to ensure better monitoring or uphold basic food safety standards. For a property of this stature, such lapses are not just disappointing but also unacceptable, especially given the current emphasis on health and safety. The overall attitude of the staff was another major letdown. From the moment of check-in, there seemed to be an air of indifference among the team. Requests for basic services were either ignored or met with significant delays. For instance, it took repeated follow-ups to get fresh towels, and the lack of attentiveness extended to other aspects of service as well. The staff's behavior at the reception was particularly discourteous, which set a negative tone for the stay. Overall good atmosphere with wonderful staff. Vivek and Charu on reception were really helpful and polite. The place is nice and really helpful staff. Food is good.
