The Lady Boss and her team are incredibly accommodating, friendly, and intuitive to guests’ needs, which made the experience all the more special. The staff genuinely enjoy working here, and it shows in their warm service and genuine care. The rooms exude the charm of Chinese heritage, with spacious layouts that provide a cozy yet elegant atmosphere. I absolutely loved the vibe—rich with cultural character and history, making each moment feel unique and authentic. However, I do have a few suggestions to enhance the guest experience further. The rooms and hallways tend to be quite dark at night, which can make navigation a bit challenging. Brightening the lighting or opting for lighter-colored walls could help guests feel more at ease, creating a less mysterious and more welcoming environment. Additionally, the soundproofing could be improved, as outside noises are quite noticeable from the rooms, which might disrupt some guests’ tranquility. Despite these minor points, the overall experience was wonderful. The heritage charm, combined with the friendly, attentive staff and the lovely ambiance, makes Redolence Garden Boutique Hotel a special place to stay. I can see why the staff enjoy working here, and I would happily return to enjoy its unique character and warm hospitality.

This is a heritage home that is in an excellent location for visiting the yunnan nationalities museum. Just a few minutes walk away. Hotel is beautiful with wooden beams and the architecture is in the Bai style. The staff there is so helpful and efficient. They helped with luggage and even late in the evening helped with my laundry. The drying system is most efficient, you can hang clothes outside the room. Bathroom is spacious. Room is as described . Security is good as there is a guard right at the gate who is also very polite, friendly and helpful. We had the classic Yunnan noodles for lunch in their restaurant. Courtyard is clean and beautiful. We have a very nice stay. Thank you.

A charming and beautifully preserved old architectural building with a cozy atmosphere and friendly hosts. The breakfast served was excellent, adding to the overall experience. Additionally, the property is within walking distance of a spot where you can enjoy watching seagulls, making it a delightful location to stay.

Hotel was very cultural and location is also very peaceful and strategic

Quiet and well decorated hotel, with elegant design and peaceful garden. The courtyards leading to the rooms are maintained and decorated with good taste., from paintings to sculptures. We loved the great healthy breakfast choice with sweet potatoes, Kunming noodle soup and Yunnan cafe. Inside the room, we loved the tea set prepared and the beautiful objects making you feel like a night at a museum. Thank you for taking care of this place and sharing this experience about Chinese culture!

The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful and the building itself is lovely to stay at. The hotel has modern amenities while keeping most of the authentic elements. It is right next to the north entrance of Yunnan Nationalities Village so it's very convenient to get to the park. It doesn't have very many restaurants nearby though so you'll be quite limited in what you can walk to but you can take a taxi to other areas.
