I stayed at Cachet Boutique Hotel Kunming on 25–26 October and had a wonderful experience. The hotel is located a little away from the main pedestrian street, but the area around it has plenty of lively bars and cafés that attract a younger crowd — great if you enjoy a vibrant atmosphere. The hotel itself was clean, beautifully decorated, and thoughtfully designed. I was really impressed by the stylish decor, quality amenities, and the spacious room layout. We were also pleasantly surprised to receive a free room upgrade, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Checking in/out was fast and hassle free. As an additional benefit, the hotel is located 10 minutes from the train station. Overall, it’s excellent value for money — I’d definitely recommend Cachet Boutique Hotel to anyone visiting Kunming who’s looking for comfort, style, and a touch of local charm.

Really nice. They speak English whivh was helpful. Kevin waa super nice and funny. I loved the room. The space decor ams bathroom.

Very nice hotel with big rooms. Rooms have been refreshed, toilet bathing area could be slightly better though. Comfortable bed. New looking room. Even allowed us to check out late upon request.

Location was walking distance to the ancient part of the city and shopping malls. It is also surrounded by arty chic galleries and bars. The hotel itself has a German-themed bar and a lively vibe at nights. There are also historic temples and museums nearby. It would add to the experience of guests if the staff are given better training about hospitality- simple things such as greeting guests, smiling, and not making guests feel that they are an unwelcome imposition when assistance is requested

We stayed in the Cachet Hotel for three nights in September 2025. The location is very convenient. It has many cafes and eating places nearby. It is not noisy although it is in the heart of town. The room design is modern and comfortable. Their staff are very helpful and gave us lots of support when we stayed with them: Polly, Ivy, Tony, Liman. They are all very professional and patient and they go the extra mile to help us for each of our requests. We were very impressed.

The hotel was situated in a artsy and cool area where there are a few hipster bars around the corner. It’s near convenience stores and 700m away from a big mall where you can get a lot of things. The rooms were spacious and the amenities were decent. I would stay here again.

Very nice hotel, clean and the service was good. We ordered food from the hotel restaurant and they brought it to our room and then they came to pick it up.

Check- in on 4 Sep for a night. Both the female staff at counter are friendly and helpful. Knowing we are catching a early morning flight, they offer to pack us a light bfast and book transportation for us. They also gave us a room upgrade. The room is clean, water pressure is good, only cons is lighting is a bit dim. Next morning, knowing our concern of no loose cash,the male staff assist to liase with driver, and gave us the pack bfast. IMO, it is these small thoughtfulness that made a hotel standout to travellers. Thanks to all staff that made our short stay pleasant.

The front desk customer.service lady staffs (ZhouYin) are very helpful and friendly. Always willingly to advice for any enquiries. 3 adults and 1 kids can occupied in a single family room with 1 king size and 1 single bed. They can even provided 4th person FOC breakfast without additional add-on bed. Room are very spacious and clean. Very satisfied for the e days stay. Thanks ZhouYin for the assistance.
