G Joyful Mido G Hotel (Kunming Nanping Pedestrian Street Baicheng Railway Station)

Except for the room being a bit different from the photos, the service, cleanliness, and transportation were all great. The room is a renovated older property, and the breakfast was decent too. Unfortunately, larger rooms weren't available to book, but given the price, the value for money is exceptional.

Good value for money. It features a laundry room, a small fridge, and a great location not far from both the train station and the old street. The front desk staff are quite thoughtful and send out a travel guide before check-in. The bathroom has a wet and dry separation design, and the toiletries are sterilized, which makes them feel safe and hygienic to use.

This stay was an absolute pleasant surprise! I just booked an ordinary room, but since I mentioned beforehand that it was my birthday, the hotel kindly agreed to decorate the room for us. The ambiance was incredible, and the attention to detail was truly thoughtful. The room was clean and tidy, with comfortable bedding and immaculate housekeeping. The staff were warm, attentive, and welcoming, making the entire check-in and stay experience wonderful. The location is also great and very convenient for getting around. Thanks to the hotel's little surprise, I had an unforgettable birthday. Highly recommended, and I will definitely choose to stay here again next time!

This was my first time in Kunming, and I stumbled upon a hidden gem of a hotel! The front desk staff was incredibly kind. On my checkout day, I had plans to visit a museum in the morning. To my surprise, the young lady at the front desk found a bucket and helped me keep the flowers I bought in Dounan the night before fresh in water. I was truly touched! As for value for money, it's exceptional. Just a 500-meter walk downstairs, you'll find both Metro Line 1 and Line 2. Plus, there are plenty of shared e-bikes right outside. What's more, the hotel's amenities are fantastic. They have direct drinking water, and there's even wireless charging by the bed. And yes, there's a breakfast restaurant too! How cool is that? All in all, this place is amazing. I'd definitely want to stay here again next time.

The room was clean, and the service attitude was great. It's convenient for dining and entertainment nearby, and transportation is excellent. It's easy to get a taxi to the city center, and the farmers market and Kunming Old Street are also very close and accessible.

This is a great hotel. Off-season, the price of just over a hundred yuan with breakfast offers excellent value for money. The room decor is quite new and features smart voice control. It also comes with a purified water dispenser that provides hot water, which is convenient for making tea. The linens and cleanliness were very good. The first room I was given was a bit small, but the manager proactively helped me switch to a larger one. The service is fantastic; they were quick to resolve the issue. As a Ctrip member, I was able to extend my checkout until 3 PM. My only minor complaint is that the pillows weren't quite right for me (one was too flat, two were too high). If the room had been a little bigger, I'd easily give it 4 stars. It's also conveniently located for getting around. Recommended.

This hotel was exceptional, exceeding all expectations. It's centrally located and very close to the subway, making it incredibly convenient for getting around. The room was clean and tidy, with a smart assistant and comfortable bedding. It was also quiet and peaceful, with no noise disturbances.
