We love the beautiful room and balcony that is facing Jinma Jibifang 金马鸡碧坊. It's mostly quiet and the light-ups at night are charming.
The bed is comfortable but the pillows are a bit soft. There is no mini fridge in the room, which is supposed to be a basic essential for guests.
From the carpark to the hotel room, there is no elevator and you have to walk up 3 levels of stairs to reach the hotel lobby.
Vehicles cannot stop in front of the hotel but on the side of the road which is about 20 metres away. Hence, it is troublesome to load and unload luggage for check-in and check-out.
From the hotel lobby, you have to take the escalator up to the room and ours is on the 3rd floor.
We would highly recommend this hotel if you have only 1-2 hand carry luggage.

We had a 2-night stay and the room was on the third floor. Close to laundry room. There's an escalator that makes it easy to go to higher floors, which is great if you're carrying big or heavy luggage. Even though the room is near the food vendors and people walking by, it was surprisingly soundproof, and we slept well at night. The room were very clean, and the bed was soft.
Breakfast was good, and the location is close to the oldtown and shopping street. The reception staffs were very excellent. very helpful and genuinely willing to assist with any request. Their hospitality really stood out. The hotel is in a fantastic spot, perfect for a leisurely walk during the day or night and also there are few shopping mall nearby.
For Muslim, there are few halal restaurant nearby within the same alley. Theres also a mosque opposite the road. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay!

Free tea and coffee at reception. Staff very welcoming and accommodating. Good water pressure. There’s food street in front of the hotel and one of the stalls is halal/qing zhen. The hotel is very beautiful, ancient style in the midst of busy city

We liked the location of the hotel, near many eateries and shops.
The didi cannot pick up exactly in front of the hotel but it’s just 50mtr walk to the main road.
The Nanping street is just 10-15min walking.
The twin room is spacious and clean.
We facing the streets so at night it’s bit noisy because of the food stalls. But we are not bothered by it and it’s a little fun to watch local people.
And the short escalator is a unique trait of this hotel, instead of elevator.
For breakfasts, the variety of menu is good enough.

Excellent location, within 10-15mins walk away from Nanping street and Kunming Old street. Many food options around the vicinity. Close to Kunming Railway Station too.

This beautiful hotel is within the city centre and surrounded by old streets with street vendors. Very convenient.
But the bathroom and toilet are on raised platforms within the room, and the platform can be as high as 25cm, depending on the room. Also while the rooms are spacious, there are no wall hooks or cloak hanger to hang clothes and towels, which is a glaring omission. We just draped the towels over the chairs in the room.

The location is good. The staff is good. You can hear everything from the neighbors room and street, so if you are a light sleeper I do not recommend. When we talked to the front desk they helped accommodate us.
