Staying at this B&B, I finally understood what it means to 'sleep by the water in Jiangnan' 🛶 “You say spring is not late, and I arrive in true Jiangnan.” This time in Zhouzhuang, I didn't choose the cookie-cutter hotels. Instead, I stayed at Chanyi, and it truly lives up to its name – full of Zen, instantly bringing a sense of calm. 🍃 🌟 Details that made the experience amazing: 1. **Unbeatable Location**: Right in the heart of the ancient town, just 20 meters from where you get off the car, and super close to the Twin Bridges! The best part is, when you're tired from exploring, you can just pop back to your room and relax. Perfect for lazy travelers. 2. **About the Room**: I highly recommend the riverside balcony room! The room is clean and tidy, and the bedding is incredibly comfortable and luxurious. All the bathroom fixtures are Kohler, which shows great taste. Sitting on the balcony, watching the sculling boats glide by with their gentle creaks, and basking in the sun – I could spend an entire afternoon there. The room has a Japanese-meets-new-Chinese style and is sparkling clean. The bedding is genuinely super comfortable. 3. **Personal Touch**: I have to give a shout-out to the owners! They came out to greet us and even helped us park our car. They not only brought us fruit and pastries but also melon seeds – the orange peel flavored ones were especially delicious. They even added us on WeChat to help with our itinerary, which was a really heartwarming gesture ❤️

This guesthouse truly exceeded my expectations! Although it's located outside the scenic area, the location is superb, making it very convenient to walk into the ancient town. The surrounding scenery is also lovely, perfect for a leisurely stroll. The owners are incredibly warm and attentive. Our room was spotlessly clean, tidy, and cozy, making for a perfect stay. We slept soundly and sweetly all night long. When it was inconvenient for us to carry our luggage while exploring, we just made a call, and the owner specially came to the scenic area entrance to help us bring it back to the guesthouse, which was so thoughtful and stress-free. Upon check-out, they even gave us some local specialty 'sock bottom酥' (su) as a gift. These little touches really enhanced our travel happiness! Plus, it's pet-friendly, and the owner even has their own dog. Unfortunately, we didn't get to see the dog because it was too happy and ran off to play, not returning until we left! 😄 This is definitely our top choice when visiting Zhouzhuang, and we'll be staying here again next time!

The guesthouse, as its name suggests, is a quintessential Jiangnan-style home, meticulously crafted by the owner with a serene, Zen-like atmosphere that immediately feels comforting. The room was clean, tidy, elegant, and unique. After exploring Zhouzhuang, it was pure bliss to relax on the bed. The hostess was incredibly warm and welcoming, from guiding us with parking upon arrival to seeing us off at check-out the next day, she treated us like close family. She even gave us local specialty souvenirs when we left, which was truly touching. It was an incredibly fortunate stay that added precious memories to our short trip.

The B&B is right next to the provincial hall's ticket office, which made getting in and out of the scenic area incredibly convenient. We arrived quite late, but the landlady personally came out to help us park our car and then walked us to the hotel. It was such a warm and welcoming experience. The B&B's decor is exceptionally comfortable. If we go back to Zhouzhuang, we'll definitely stay here again.
