The free  shuttle bus from and to KARUIZAWA is very convenient and save money.  There are serversl hot spring baths which create different experiences which is very nice .  Finally the free noodles and lollipops after hot spring baths at night are super!  The noodles taste good and the kids had a few per night 🤣🤣👍👍

It was my first stay in this hotel and it was one of the greatest experiences I ever had. The hot springs are outstanding and I really enjoyed them. The hotel itself is historic and shows his age, but once you immerse yourself in the hot springs, non of that matters. The warm hospitality of the staff and charming atmosphere of Showa Japan make this place wonderful.

The hotel provide everything you need, the onsen is good, free flow wines, sake, plum wine. special.

Book a night to experience Kusatsu onsen. The onsen resort are 10min away from the main attraction but we come to know there is shuttle service provided, but since we drive hence did not utilised the service. Onsen facilities are old but maintained well. Our buffet dinner is a WOW! The unlimited drinks, sake and beer are a big highlight with variety of Japanese food selection. 3 private onsen available for use with 2 big public onsen available in house. Breakfast are good too with the overall prices.

The onsen facilities are good, featuring two large public onsens and three private ones. However, the room is smaller than the average onsen hotel rooms I've stayed in before. The hotel seems to be at full capacity, with many guests using the onsens, which often results in queues for the private ones. Additionally, the lounge is smaller and frequently crowded, especially in the evenings when they serve ramen, leading to long lines. So does the restaurant. Overall, it's a good onsen experience, but it feels like there are too many guests accommodated at once.

Highly recommend. Service is good, staff are friendly and helpful, meals are fantastic, the Japanese style rooms are neat and clean and most impressive are the choices of onsen !!!
