I stayed in the 5th floor penthouse with a private terrace and great view. It is not ski-in ski-out but the bases are at walking distance in about 10 minutes. The check in is done at another sister hotel a bit of a uphill walk so take your taxi directly there on arrival.
Right at the centre of Hirafu - you have to walk a bit upslope to the ski lifts. Check in is at another building / hotel so beware if you're not driving.
The space is well equipped with a full kitchen and washing machine, as well as heaters. There is also a ski locker on the ground floorwhere you can pit your ski equipment. However we noticed a smell of fresh renovating works once we entered the room - though we're not sure where that came from.
If you're driving, beware they only have 2 parking spaces in front of the building which are not designated for guests. So if someone else parked that space, you have to find somewhere where you're not considered a hassle. Note you are not supposed to park behind the building nor the space next to the 2 parking spaces.
The hotel is right next to the Hirafu ski resort, and there are restaurants and supermarkets nearby, which is very convenient. The bedroom is a bit small, but considering the price/performance ratio is quite high. The room can see the sheep's foot mountain and the scenery is very beautiful.
Greystone is a beautiful 7 bedroom residence located in the lower village on the free shuttle bus route to save time for enjoying Niseko’s famous powder. To ensure complete relaxation, two onsen-style baths are located in the basement level.
Picture yourself waking up in one of Greystone’s seven, comfortable and spacious bedrooms. The property is perfect for large groups, it will probably be an entertaining breakfast in the large living and dining area surrounded by family or friends. Getting up to the slopes is easy, just jump on the free shuttle bus stops nearby and you will be at the slopes in munutes.
After an exciting day achieving your first turns on the green runs or chasing out the champagne powder, Choose to relax together in the living area or media room or get some privacy in the private lounge areas featured in three of the bedrooms.
Explore the many excellent restaurants on offer in the lower village or take a short walk into the centre of the village for even more options.

Hinzan was amazing for our ski vacation in Niseko! The location is super central, but they also have a shuttle that can take you to the lifts and around Hirafu so you don't have to walk with your gear. There were ski lockers and a room in the lobby with boot warmers. The in-room washer/dryer was also very convenient.
While the front desk times were limited, they were very flexible about arranging for staff to stay late/come early for check in and check out. All the staff were amazing, going out of their way to make sure we had a good stay!
Would definitely stay here again!
Unwind in one of LOFT Niseko’s four luxurious apartments with outstanding views of Mt Yotei and comfortable scandi-inspired furnishings.
After spending the day exploring the Niseko slopes, return to your cozy LOFT Niseko apartment and relax in style. Feel awe-struck by the impressive vistas from floor to ceiling windows showing off the impressive Mt. Yotei.
In the evenings, savour an authentic Japanese feast or delicious international dinner at one of the many restaurants at your doorstep in lower Hirafu, then dance the night away in one of the lively village bars or head back for an early night to be ready for the fresh pow in the morning.
Concierge on-site between 8 am & 8 pm between December 1st & March 31st.

Ginsetsu is a beautiful house combining Japanese artful style and modern comfort in Hirafu’s tranquil lower village.
Wake up, feeling immersed in Japanese culture, sleeping on comfortable futon bedding on traditional tatami floors in two of the three bedrooms. Head up to the mountain using free shuttle bus, which is just a three minute walk away.
After a day of chasing down powder or achieving your turn first on the green runs, relax in your cosy living area, perhaps enjoy some tea at an authentic Japanese tea table with raised tatami seating. Appreciate the visually stunning features including elegant handcrafted woodworks, cedar bath wall and rare granite counter tops.
Spend your evenings exploring the hidden gems in the lower village or take a short walk into the centre of the village to visit some of Niseko’s most popular restaurants.
