Kitashirakawa Natural Radium Onsen Reviews

Had a good stay at Kitashirakawa. The food was very delicious and the onsen was energising. The owner was polite and hospitable. The bus journey from kyoto station to vacation home was about 40 min. It was just 30 m away from Jizodani bus stop.

The best hotel I have even seen🥹 100% sure I will visit again. For location, it is a little bit far from the city but you can request them to drive you to the place you want anytime. It is never a problem for location and help saving travel time and cost!! The room is wonderful, it is very large and you can get everyting you need at room. There are private onsen in all rooms. The best thing for this hotel is the food!!! All things are delisous. As there are 4 rooms only in hotel, you can enjoy your meal quietly and slowly in restaurant, never bother by others. I am so surprised that I pay little for this outstanding service, room and food quality. Everyone should check this out:)

Only 4 rooms in this boutique hotel. Location is slightly out of the way, but then the private outdoor onsen in each room makes up for it! There is a little balcony, and a living room in my room. The food and sercive is amazing for an onsen hotel. There is also an indoor public onsen that we can use. The only tiny cons would be that the beds are 2 separate single beds so it is good for friends, but not as good for couples.

Very homey ryokan with private onsen. The staff is very passionate and speak English. Amenities are well prepared. Dinner and breakfast was excellent.

It is specially equipped with yukata, even traditional socks suitable for clogs~ The homestay is on the mountain. I personally like to climb mountains. I walked a few kilometers along the winding mountain road and could enjoy the original Japanese alpine scenery with many small waterfalls. There are no other food and entertainment around, and it is relatively quiet.

The breakfast and dinner are so rich that I am fed well every day. The quantity is large and the taste is also super good. I can soak in the hot springs in my spare time. It is so happy. I will be delivered to wherever I want to go and back on time (basically only to the bus station and the train station, but it is very convenient to go to the city). I would like to stay for a few days next time if I have the chance.

Pure private hot springs, cold winter days, unlimited outdoor hot springs, really cool. The ingredients are not top-notch, but the sincerity is overflowing. If you spread out breakfast and dinner, the whole table can't fit. At this price, it is worth a try

Fortunately, with everyone's help, the passport was found the next morning. I am really lucky. If I have the opportunity to go to Kyoto again in the future, I will choose this place again!
