Excellent location. Bus stop is just 6mins from the hotel entrance. These buses gives you easy access to many famous sightseeing places. Entrance is accessed on the side road (not the main road where the stop is). Amenities (e.g. face wash, toothpaste…etc. can be picked up near the reception area. The hotel is surrounded by shops and restaurants. There is a public hot bath area where you could relax. The food and drinks were good. We will definitely stay here again, for its location.

Conveniently located: cafes, currency exchange offices, shopping streets, and the metro are nearby. The hotel has an interesting design, including vinyl players in the common area with a decent record collection. The rooms are small, with questionable furniture placement, but you get used to it. Everything you need is in the room or can be borrowed from reception. A public spa is available freely. Laundry and smoking room are on the 3rd floor.

The corner room was spacious with a direct view of Kyoto's busiest street. The shower had a massage function, and the front desk service was excellent. Plus, there was a dedicated area for enjoying records, which was a nice touch! 👍

The location is fantastic, right opposite Nishiki Market and next to Takashimaya. Step out of the alleyway and you're on the main street, making shopping and exploring super convenient. The breakfast is especially delicious, and the public bath (onsen) is wonderful and relaxing.

The hotel entrance is located on a small street off the main Kawaramachi road. The location is incredibly convenient; it's just a five-minute walk to Fujii Daimaru and Takashimaya. If you're coming from Osaka, you can get off at Karasuma Station and use the underground passage.

Hotel Grand Bach Kyoto Select is well located, with easy access to nearby attractions. The area is not difficult to navigate, and travelling with luggage is convenient as most of the roads around the hotel are flat. The hotel looks fantastic both externally and internally. The design is modern and well maintained, creating a pleasant and welcoming atmosphere. The service staff were great—friendly, helpful, and professional. The lobby amenities were well thought out and added to the overall comfort of the stay. A welcome drink was also provided for every guest, which was a nice touch. The room was very nice and had sufficient space, making it comfortable even with luggage. One minor downside was the television, which only offered local channels. The luggage storage area was well designed and secure, allowing us to lock our luggage ourselves both before check-in and after check-out. In addition, the hotel onsen was clean, comfortable, and relaxing, making it a great way to unwind after a day of sightseeing. Overall, Hotel Grand Bach Kyoto Select offers a comfortable stay with excellent service, thoughtful facilities, and a convenient location. It is a great choice for travelers visiting Kyoto.

Excellent breakfast with vegetables and cheeses

The location is excellent. There's a bar where you can exchange tokens for free drinks. The hot spring bath is also complimentary, which makes it good value for money.

Extremely satisfied! It's perfect for family trips, with a very convenient location that offers easy access to both bus and subway. The hotel also provides complimentary soft drinks, which can be redeemed using special tokens given by the hotel.

Great hotel location within popular shopping spot..4 min walk to the famous nikishi market ..lot of shops around

The hotel is centrally located. While it's a bit of a walk from the subway station, Shijo Street is just a right turn from the exit, making it very convenient for shopping. The room was a bit small, but it was clean and well-maintained. The hotel also offers a complimentary onsen (hot spring bath) for guests to enjoy. Overall, it offers great value for money!

lockers are excellent for self baggage storage. while rooms may be a bit small for our liking, the hotel is situated at a great location 😊
