Guesthouse Soi

This time I went to Kyoto and booked a bed in guesthouse soi, which is about 10 minutes away from the station (20 minutes walk), which is very convenient. As soon as I arrived at the guesthouse, I was surprised by the clean environment and the blooming cherry trees at the door. It was beautiful and warm. The boss and the front desk staff were not only attentive but also very enthusiastic, and I had a very gentle impression of Kyoto at once. The boss also recommended nearby restaurants to us, and told us the nearest and most convenient route to Osaka when we were about to leave. The bed was clean and comfortable. Although it was a group stay, the blackout curtains worked very well and you could have your own rest space. The facilities in the public areas are also very complete. The breakfast was also great! I think the toast + fig jam is super delicious, and there is a 24-hour drink counter and snack bar. I made a free latte by myself, which was very satisfying hahaha! The nearby streets are also very good to visit, quiet, and there are many coffee shops and snack shops to eat. It is a few minutes' walk from Kiyomizu Temple. On the last day, I left my luggage at the hotel and went to various attractions for a walk. It was so happy! 🥰🥰🥰

I give it 100 out of 5 points. It’s a very good hotel. It feels like home. The boss can speak many languages, including Chinese. The hotel also provides Japanese breakfast for 800 yen. The fish is very delicious. It is said that the craftsmanship is handed down from the proprietress herself. You can drink free drink milk, and if you don't order their breakfast, you can still enjoy the toast, jam and fruit provided by the boss in the morning. The quadruple room and single room are both very good. The bed in the quadruple room is very comfortable. I like it. The boss is very enthusiastic and will answer all the questions he can for you, including how to get to this scenic spot and the transportation methods. It happened to be in time for the Setubun Festival and I saw beans being thrown at the shrine. I was speaking in Chinese when I went there, and the boss and his wife gave me free meals. A meal of fried rice. It was raining in Kansai when I left, and I took an umbrella with me for free. If you want to travel in Kansai and live in Kyoto at the same time, then I highly recommend this place. Stay here and then go to Osaka and Nara during the day. It is a great choice. The landlord is very nice. He speaks Chinese. The environment is quiet and comfortable. It’s very close to everywhere we go. When we left, the landlord even guided us to the subway station. He’s really a nice person.

Excellent hotel. Inexpensive, very cozy, has everything you need, breakfast. Very friendly staff. Nearby is the Temple of Pure Water, a 5-minute walk to the bus stop. I would gladly come back again.
