Richmond Hotel Premier Kyoto Ekimae

The room was on the top floor with a perfect view of the tower, and the bed was very comfortable. The staff were also very friendly. I'm not really a fan of raw food for breakfast, so I stuck to the noodles. Since I was out sightseeing most of the time, this was probably the best meal I had.

My relatives came to visit, and we booked two rooms of the same type. They were very satisfied.

This hotel is super conveniently located, just a 10-minute walk from Kyoto Station. The service was also great. But the real highlights are the free afternoon tea every day (even if the selection is a bit simple and small) and the complimentary evening bar, which even includes small cans of Ichiban Shibori beer and plum wine!

Wow, I can't say enough good things about this place! The breakfast was incredibly rich and varied, and the matcha ice cream at the free afternoon tea was delicious. In the evening, the bar offered an endless supply of drinks – absolutely amazing. The room was also very comfortable.

This hotel in front of Kyoto Station offers excellent service, it's my third time staying at a Richmond Hotel, and the quality is consistently top-notch. The location is also very convenient; it's just a few minutes' walk after turning left from the Central Exit. Very satisfied! 👍

Extremely satisfied with the price I paid for this booking! Since my trip involved arriving in Kyoto on D1 afternoon and leaving on D2 midday, I needed a hotel close to Kyoto Station. It's about a 10-minute walk, but be warned: don't go down into the underground mall after exiting the station; the above-ground exits are small and have no elevators (a bit of a struggle!). Everything else was great – there's a bus stop right outside the hotel that goes to many places, and if not, the subway is also an option. The room was a decent size, and the entrance area had a very Kyoto-esque design. Plus, there's a Happy Hour!

Had a fantastic stay! The hotel was clean, well-signposted, and conveniently close to Kyoto Station. In the afternoon, they offered free reservations for a wind chime painting activity, which was a lovely touch. The area around the hotel was very quiet and made getting around super easy.
