Stay Sakura Kyoto Station South Ⅰ Reviews

Very comfortable and silent place with good location to the malls and transports. I clearly recommend this place to anyone who wants to visit Kyoto and see sights around. Only one little lack I’d like to notice is that there’s a little drop of condensed water from the air conditioner to the floor.

We stayed in a room with a kitchenette. The room was spacious enough for 3 adults and 2 children. The kitchen is indeed mini, and there weren't enough dishes, but they brought more upon request, although deep bowls are not provided. Overall, it's a good option. It's about an 8-minute walk from the station and 2 minutes to TeamLab. The room has a washing machine with laundry detergent, which is very convenient, and there's a dryer in the bathroom that turns on with the ventilation and dries everything quickly.

The overall space was decent. While it's about a 10-minute walk from Kyoto Station, there's a bus stop nearby which makes it convenient. I was pleased that an in-room washing machine and ample laundry detergent were provided. The dehumidifier in the bathroom worked really well. There are two Lawson convenience stores nearby, one of which is a Lawson 100 Store, making it convenient to buy fruit, though the selection isn't as wide as a supermarket. Every morning, I enjoyed jogging from here to various historical sites like Kiyomizu-dera, Sannenzaka, and Fushimi Inari; the scenery along the way was beautiful and pleasant. All in all, my stay this time was a good experience.

It was great that TeamLab Kyoto, one of our destinations, was so close by. Kyoto Station was also only about a kilometer away, so we could easily walk there. However, it was a bit disappointing that the room was a little dusty.

The check-in location and accommodation place is different, but we can checkout on the accommodation. The location is near to the station. We stayed with our children and it's comfortable. The property was peaceful. The staffs are very friendly. It would be better if there were more kitchen utensils.

The entrance was unmanned, which was perfect for a stay without services. The room was also a bit more spacious than a typical business hotel, making for a comfortable stay.

Overall good experience, walking distance to Kyoto Station and bus stop to our destinations, convenience store nearby, clean new apartment, we can do laundry and they have the modern bathroom drying room, so your clothes crispy dry in 3 hours, they do cleaning in between if you stay longer days. Many street food shop nearby, but we didnt realised until later days, but konbini food was a pleasure to have with anyway. They have luggage services which have helped us tremendously, we need to get the 4 PM train, when the checkout time is 11, so we drop off the luggage in the customer service office. Hang around the area until our train timetable start.

Good for price, but to note that the service counter is a separate building

It was a bit inconvenient that check-in was at a different location from the accommodation itself, but the stay was comfortable and the location wasn't too far off.

Staff is kind, they are helpful

Great location but need to go to service center for checking in which inconvenience for us to do so. They provided 2 cleaning but they didn't serve us all amenities.

Far from osaka station. Checking in location is different from the hotel. No front desk, no stuff. Bottle water only been provided on the first day, then no more. Scared for the first night because don't know if there are other people there. There are only 7 rooms in this tiny hotel. Won't recommend to the solo traveller, especially to solo female traveller.
