Exiting Kyoto Station from the Hachijo-west exit, you can quickly cross through Kyoto Station via the second-floor North-South passage, connecting to the subway, buses, JR, and Shinkansen, and then reach the hotel. Check-in is done via self-service machines. The room size is quite good, clean, and tidy. In the lobby downstairs, you can find toothbrushes, combs, and tea bags. Facial cleanser, lotion, and face masks are available at the front desk. There's a large 7-Eleven downstairs, a daily must-visit, and you can use your hotel room card to re-enter the hotel through a side door. There are 12 washing machines on floors 2, 3, and 4 in total. You can see their usage status on the in-room TV, but they are quite popular. The washing machines now accept electronic payments, so you no longer need to exchange for 100-yen coins.

Whenever I visit Kansai, this is my go-to hotel. It's a great escape from the hustle and bustle of Osaka, and it's incredibly convenient for getting around Kansai via JR and Shinkansen. The hotel rooms are also quite spacious, easily accommodating a large and a small suitcase.

This hotel is super convenient yet quiet, located very close to Kyoto Station's Hachijo Exit. It's also right near the airport bus stop, making trips to Kansai Airport a breeze. Dining and shopping options are plentiful nearby. The breakfast is a delicious and generous Japanese style, though I wish there was more fruit. The room itself was clean, tidy, and comfortable. I'd definitely choose this hotel again for my next trip to Kyoto.

Came here via the Kansai Airport Express. After exiting the station, look for Kyoto Hachijo-guchi, and it's right across the road – super convenient! Although I didn't encounter any Chinese-speaking staff at the front desk, I managed to check in easily with my broken English. There's also a self-service machine with Chinese language options. Breakfast was decent and totally met my needs! It's also easy to get to places like Nara and Uji from here. Cleanliness: Great Environment: Good Service: Good Facilities: For a trip, just a place to stay and store luggage. The bathtub was enough for a nice foot soak!

Aside from the great location, I wouldn't recommend anything else. The hotel and rooms had a stale, old carpet smell. There were tour groups and student groups every day. You have to go for breakfast a bit later, otherwise, the queue is incredibly long. While there were many breakfast options, nothing was particularly tasty. The cleaning staff used one rag for everything and even left it on my luggage.
