Tabist Sparkling Dolphins Inn Kyoto

This was a great place to stay! As mentioned by teachers and others who have taken school groups to Japan, what makes this place special is the owner. I recently took a school group of 25 students and 3 teachers to Japan and we stayed at the Sparkling Dolphins Inn with in Kyoto. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. Our students commented on how the futons were very cosy and warm during the cold nights. The owner was excellent in making sure each room was very clean and towels were replaced every day. The owner is excellent. Each day he would go out of his way to make sure we were all organised and ready for our travels. He was very flexible when we made last minute changes to our itinerary making sure a breakfast in-house or take-away was ready for us. He was a pleasure to talk to and was full of great advice on where to go in areas in and around Tokyo. The owner has his guests as his first priority. His service was very thoughtful and caring. As with other school groups have stated, I will definitely be booking Sparkling Dolphins Inn for my next school trip as our whole group agreed that we loved our stay there!

I recently took a school group of 18 students and 4 teachers to Japan and we stayed at the Sparkling Dolphins Inn with in Kyoto. The students and staff absolutely loved staying at this inn as the rooms were very comfortable and clean. The futons were cosy and the air conditioning was very welcome in the heat. Each room was very clean and towels were replaced every day. The real joy in this inn is the owner, who was absolutely amazing! He was very engaging and welcomed our group warmly. On days when we had an early start, he arranged a takeaway breakfast for us to enjoy - even playing a prank on a few students by putting a sweet potato in their Brekky bag 😂 When one of my students became unwell at night, the owner went out of his way ti assist us - calling local medical centres to find one with a short wait, then organising a taxi for us. His hospitality was very appreciated! On our last day at the inn, the owner gifted all of us a copy of a group photo we had taken together at the front of the inn, and gave the teachers a box of Kyoto rice crackers. His service was so thoughtful and caring! I will definitely be booking Sparkling Dolphins Inn for my next school trip as our whole group agreed that we loved our stay there!
