The Location is fine. But the room is too dark. But the service is nice such as luggage storage, 24/7 beverage station.

Stayed for 3 nights. Nice atmosphere. Accessible informations for localities. Convenient store 7 Eleven downstair is a bonus. Practical self service check in/check out and for luggage storage. Room is okay, has a window. Mattresses were good, could have better pillows. Overall is nice budget stay.

Good location. Near to the Keihan rail station. Perfect for those who are exploring Fushimi Inari and kiyomizudera. Convenience store just beside the hotel and good food nearby!

We enjoyed the stay in Hotel TAVINOS Kyoto! Price is very reasonable, and there is a convenient store-7-11 just at level 1 of the hotel! Hotel provides place for you dining as well ! However the laundry room is always full and the room is the size what you see from the picture. Location is near the bus stop and a famous ramen store too!

The location was very good close to everything. Fast food restaurants and grocery just across the street. 7-11 right underneath the hotel. Pharmacy a few minute walk. Bust stop in front of the hotel

Uncomfortable and unhygienic. The pillows and blankets have a weird smell and the bed sheets always slip off for some reason. The only advantage is its location. Quite close to metro stations. However, there are plenty of quality, comfortable and hygiene hotels nearby at similar price. This hotel does not have any edge at all. Definitely not recommended.

Room is spacious enough for 2 pax, and the location is just great! There’s a 711 and bus stop attached, just a few step away from the hotel

We really enjoyed our 3 night stay here. The decor really added to the atmosphere of the place and there was a lovely communal area for relaxing. This offered different seating areas with access to free tea and coffee, a microwave and mini oven. The hotel is directly above a 7/eleven so it was very convenient for bringing in food to eat. There was a laundry room but it was very busy and the washing machine didn't sound very happy and the drying seemed to take people a long time. We were glad to have done washing before arriving here. The room was quite big and the bed was on a raised platform so cases could be stored underneath. It was very dark in the room because of the decor. We did sleep well. The bathroom was very modern and clean with a wet room style shower. All areas of the hotel were very clean throughout our stay and staff were visibly working to maintain a high standard. Kyoto was extremely busy at the time of our stay (during golden week) so we focused our visits to places that could be walked to or accessed from the Kiyomizu-Gojo Station on the Keihan Line. We did one trip that involved buses and it was horrendously busy with the longest queues at bus stops we've ever seen.
