The location is fantastic, right next to Kyoto Station, making dining and shopping super convenient. The lobby is also easy to find. The lamp in the atrium is beautiful, but that's actually the restaurant area. The front desk is to the right, so don't get confused. The room is very spacious; 30 square meters is quite large for a typical Japanese hotel. We could open both of our suitcases, and the price was excellent, truly impressive – incredible value for money! The breakfast spread was extensive, but the offerings were the same every day, so it got a bit repetitive after three days. On the other hand, the ice cream selection was fantastic, with twenty different flavors you could scoop yourself.

The hotel's location is superb, right next to Kyoto Station (about a 3-minute walk), making travel incredibly convenient. It's quiet despite being in a busy area, and very clean and tidy. The staff are also very friendly. Breakfast was standard, but there are plenty of restaurants to choose from at the station. All in all, highly recommended.

Extremely satisfied with this hotel. Traveling with elderly parents and children, we landed in Osaka and headed straight to Kyoto, so we chose a hotel within walking distance from the station, making it easy to manage our luggage. It's only a three-minute walk from the train station (you can see it right after exiting and turning right). The room, while not huge, was incredibly cozy and didn't feel cheap like some budget hotels. The staff were very friendly; my partner loves tea and would ask for extra water daily, which they always provided for free. During our stay, we rarely saw other Chinese guests; it was mostly Western and local guests, and breakfast was always quiet. There are tons of restaurants near the hotel (a sushi place within a five-minute walk was super delicious and great value for money). Plus, there's Isetan department store right next to the station for shopping – it couldn't be more convenient! A taxi from the hotel to Kiyomizu-dera Temple cost about 1800 JPY, and to Takashimaya, it was roughly the same price. At 9 PM, you can enter the station and take the escalator to the top for a free panoramic view of Kyoto's nightscape. All in all, I'm very satisfied and would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit.

No complaints really, apart from the bathroom being incredibly small. I particularly loved the lobby's lamp design; the warm lighting paired with the swaying wind chimes gave off a very old-money vibe. The staff were also pleasant and quick to assist with any requests. Its proximity to Kyoto Station is a huge plus, making the location excellent. The lamps and wall art in the room echoed the lobby's decor, showing great attention to detail. Loved it ❤️

Excellent hotel, definitely my top choice for a trip to Kyoto. The location is superb, right out of Kyoto Station and a quick turn to the right. The rooms are spacious, and the breakfast is fantastic, with complimentary Japanese sake tasting and delicious ice cream.

Just a 2-3 minute walk from Kyoto Station, this hotel offers incredibly convenient access to the JR Nara Line (for Fushimi Inari), the bus terminal, and Kansai Airport. As an established hotel, the service is exceptionally thorough and thoughtful. The surrounding area is bustling with amenities, including Daikoku Drugstore, Isetan Department Store, and numerous restaurants. Despite the lively neighborhood, it's surprisingly quiet, making it a highly recommended stay.

Fantastic! Great environment, convenient location, and excellent service. The breakfast was delicious, and it offers incredible value for money. I even lost a film roll, and they responded to my email very promptly. A truly wonderful experience.

The most satisfying hotel stay in Kyoto. It's an older hotel, but very well-maintained. The location is convenient, offering a quiet retreat while still being close to the action. The room is also quite spacious for Japan.

This is a very good hotel to choose to stay. Good location. 5 min to train station and close to shopping area and lot of restaurant to try. 

The hotel's location is excellent, right next to Kyoto Station, making it very convenient to get anywhere. Because of its superb location, I even extended my stay for another night. Although the room wasn't huge, the space was perfectly adequate, and luggage storage was very convenient. Highly recommended!

The place I stayed in Kyoto was also amazing. It was right in front of the train station and located in the central area, which made everything so convenient. Honestly, the location couldn’t have been more perfect, and it made my whole Kyoto trip even more enjoyable 🤍

The hotel was clean and the staff were very friendly. The room was spacious and they provided toiletries, including skincare and cleanser, which was a nice touch. The location was excellent, just next to Kyoto Station, making it very convenient to get around. Breakfast was good, with a slightly Western selection, though there were limited Japanese options. They don’t have a laundry room, but there is a self-service laundromat about 500 meters away.
