the hotel is very beautiful, easy location , the food is normal nothing special , good views from the city, the ice cream is delicious , the employee is gentle and helpful . my toilet was a little dirty. too many russian and german .

It was my second stay at the Century Hotel. I can recommend this hotel, but be prepared to pay an extra 30% if you request an early check-in — even if it’s just one hour earlier.

Great location, outside of Kyoto Station. Access to bus is good. Will considering for future visit.

Awesome location and lovely atmosphere~ Our room was superb and we had the nicest sleep in this hotel! Only thing that I wish for - more variation for breakfast as we had 3 days of the same food. Lovely staff :)

Walking distance to Kyoto station. Nice breakfast. Decently big room compared to other hotels in Japan but bathroom was small. Parking costed 2000 yen. checkout time at 10am

I didn’t realize how different the deluxe rooms and the superior rooms are until I checked in. My room is very basic, kind of tasteless, it’s very different from the superior room l stayed before. So I strongly recommend you make sure to book the superior room to enhance the experience with this elegant hotel.

I recommend this hotel! The location is very convenient. It is right next to the kyoto station and bus stop. Room was clean and pretty quiet 👏

The location is incredibly convenient, right outside Kyoto Station. There are bus stops and a subway station right at the doorstep, providing easy access to all the main attractions. The room itself was quite spacious, especially for Japanese standards. Fushimi Inari Shrine is only 15 minutes away, and Kiyomizu-dera Temple is even within walking distance. Plus, shopping is a breeze with Don Quijote and Yodobashi Camera practically next door.

Location: Absolutely superb. Right outside Kyoto Station, to the right, you can be in the hotel in under 5 minutes. This was truly incredible, an absolute lifesaver for a mom like me who's usually burdened with bags and gets tired easily after just a few steps. Cleanliness: I'm not sure how international 5-star ratings work, but I'd comfortably say this hotel is on par with a domestic 5-star. It was impeccably clean. The bathroom featured excellent wet/dry separation, and there were no unpleasant odors whatsoever. Facilities: It had everything we needed. They even gave us a DHC 4-piece travel set sample upon check-in. The room was spacious, and despite being right next to a major JR station, it was incredibly quiet – we heard absolutely no noise. Environment: We were out exploring every day, so I didn't have a chance to check out the hotel's common areas. Aside from our room and the elevators, we didn't really go anywhere else. Service: The service was incredibly warm and friendly. Even with a language barrier, we could communicate in English. There was also a staff member at the front desk who spoke Chinese, and she was equally enthusiastic. She even recommended the Gion Matsuri to us, which allowed us to unexpectedly experience a local event – we were so thrilled! Recalling that lively scene still brings a slight smile to my face as I write this review.

Location: The hotel is conveniently located, just a short walk straight ahead after turning right from Kyoto Station. Getting around is a breeze, with subway and bus stops nearby. Popular Kyoto attractions like Sanjusangendo Temple and Kinkaku-ji Temple are easily accessible by bus. For trips to destinations like Uji and Nara, taking the JR from Kyoto Station is also very convenient. Cleanliness: Generally satisfactory. Rooms are serviced every two days. Service: There were no Chinese-speaking staff. Check-in was done using a self-service machine after scanning a provided QR code. Room/Amenities: The room was spacious enough to comfortably lay out two 28-inch suitcases, which was very convenient for organizing our belongings.

The hotel's location right next to Kyoto Station is unbeatable. We were able to drop off our luggage early and head straight out to explore/shop. Toiletries are conveniently available for self-service pickup next to the elevator on the first floor. I would definitely stay here again on my next trip.

Hotel is nearby the Kyoto station & bus station which is very convenient to go around the city. Since it is my girlfriend’s birthday, I’ve contacted the hotel to pre-arrange the special decoration & birthday cake! Very nice decor and arrangement! Only one thing is the room seem little bit small than the expectation otherwise than that everything from the hotel cleanliness to the staff are good and on the high standard. I will definitely come back this hotel in the future when visit Kyoto again!
