This is a fantastic hotel! The rooms are clean and tidy, and the staff are incredibly warm and welcoming. There are many izakayas nearby, and it's very convenient to walk to the Kamo River. It's also very close to the shopping streets and the Kawaramachi commercial district. There are convenience stores and plenty of great food options nearby. I'll definitely stay here again on my next trip to Kyoto! 🤩

The location is great, very close to the shopping street but not directly on it, so it's not too crowded. The shower and toilet in the room are separate, but there's only a curtain dividing them from the bed. It's fine for one person, but might be a bit inconvenient for two. The room provides disposable slippers, and a bottle of water was given at check-in. Disposable toothbrushes are available at the entrance, and you can pick up towels and pajamas yourself. The first pair of pajamas I got had stains and weren't very clean, so it's something to watch out for.

It's a bit far from the subway station, but overall it's pretty good. It's only one stop away from the Umeda shopping district. The surrounding area is very quiet, and the self-service toiletries are a nice touch. Thanks to the hotel for keeping the T-shirt I left in the room! Thank you!

The hotel's location is excellent. Nishiki Market, the shopping street, and the bus station are all within easy reach, making dining and shopping very convenient. The environment is clean, and the area around the hotel is quite quiet. It's a hotel with great value for money.

Facilities: Hairdryer, TV, toiletries, and kettle can be borrowed from the front desk. Hygiene: Acceptable. Environment: Good, but the soundproofing is a bit lacking. Service: Acceptable. There's a complimentary simple breakfast.

Nice hotel with a nice lobby. The rooms are spacious and the shower is amazing. You even get a small complimentary breakfast in the morning. Hotel is near all sightseeing spots and main shopping streets.

Nice place and location. Only downside is the lack of water and having only one bottle a day after system checks if it is taken for the day.

Located within Shopping Street, the hotel offers a peaceful and restful stay despite the lively surroundings. Just downstairs, there’s a convenience store, and within a few minutes’ walk you can reach market and subway station, making it very convenient. The rooms are well kept, and both the shower facilities and the spacious bathtub provide a comfortable experience. The self-service breakfast has also received many positive reviews from guests.

They offer a free simple breakfast, and the hotel's location is incredibly convenient. I booked 7 nights straight on Ctrip this time. Upon arriving at the hotel, I realized the price I paid was more than double what it should have been!

First off, let me start by saying I'd definitely consider staying here again! It offers excellent value for money. Room type: 2 single beds, 1m each. Highlight 1: Self check-in & check-out – super convenient! Highlight 2: It has a 'Xiaomeixi' smart voice assistant, similar to Xiao Ai or Xiaodu, which is handy for asking about the weather and so on. Highlight 3: Complimentary breakfast included! It's about 100ml of miso soup (not too salty, which is rare in Japan 😂) + a drink (coffee or juice option) + an egg + two small pieces of bread. While simple, if you grab a salad, it's a reasonably balanced meal. Can't complain about something free! Served from 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM – first time I've seen a hotel breakfast extend till 11:00 AM, which is great for late risers. Thumbs up! 👍🏻 Highlight 4: The space is definitely spacious for Japan. The two 1m beds pushed together make a huge sleeping area, haha! Plus, there's still room for a 30-inch suitcase! Highlight 5: We stayed on the 5th floor. Next to the elevators, there's an ice machine, vending machine, and laundry room, which was super convenient! Highlight 6: On the ground floor, you can pick up combs, small bath towels, toothbrushes, and razors (though not as many amenities as the Keihan Hotel Yodoyabashi in Osaka where we stayed, no skincare products here). Dissatisfaction 1: We opted for basic cleaning services, which included just changing the trash bags, but they didn't replenish our water. We had to go to the front desk to ask for it... not a great experience and quite awkward. Dissatisfaction 2: Also, our room faced the street, and my family mentioned being woken up in the middle of the night by noisy motorcycles 😤. We had specifically requested a quiet room when booking, so this is definitely a factor we'd consider for a potential return stay. Finally, regarding the location: The hotel is in Sanjo, not the absolute most central area, but it's a 5-minute walk to Sanjo's shopping street with many restaurants. Family Mart and 7-Eleven convenience stores are a 5-6 minute walk away.

Great locations but the check in/out machine doesn't work properly. We need assistance from the staff for checking in and out.

A quiet oasis amidst the hustle and bustle, with comfortable rooms. It's about a 10-12 minute walk to Karasuma Oike subway station, but other than that, everything was perfect! 🗽
