Excellent location. Beautiful room. There's a wonderful observation deck with a bar on the top floor.

The room was a bit small, but my overall experience was fantastic! The service was exceptionally good, and the hot springs and rooftop were absolutely amazing. Plus, there was free ice cream!

A beautiful hotel with cosy rooms, fabulous amenities (onsen, drinks and snacks on reception level, afternoon beverage on the roof, and even onsen coffee in the mornings). I loved enjoying the rooftop foot spa any change i could get. The location was very convenient especially when taking the Privace train to Osaka afterwards. I would definitely stay here again and loved my stay.

This hotel is absolutely wonderful! Tucked away in a bustling part of Kyoto, it surprisingly offers a peaceful retreat. The top-floor bar has a really stylish design and the night views are absolutely stunning. Our king room was spacious and comfortable, and a soak in the bathtub melted away all our travel fatigue. Staying here with my partner, we really got to experience Kyoto's relaxed pace – it was incredibly romantic!

The hotel's location is convenient. Although the room was small, it was clean. Since we were out all day, the small room wasn't an issue. One large suitcase was fine, but two would have been a struggle. My only complaint is the breakfast. I was surprised to find it was just a boxed meal (one day Japanese, one day Western), and the dining area was tiny, right next to check-in. The price difference between rooms with and without breakfast was about ¥200 per person, which feels like a rip-off for what you get. I barely ate any of it. There are plenty of coffee shops (with breakfast options) and good bakeries right outside the hotel. If you have any expectations for breakfast, I'd really advise against wasting your money on it here.

The welcome drink on the rooftop was lovely, with a foot bath and great views of Kyoto – a truly enjoyable experience. They even provided a pastry as a birthday gift! The spacious bathroom had two different types of baths to enjoy, and the high-quality hairdryer left my hair feeling smooth and silky.

The hotel's location is excellent. The rooms are a bit small but well-appointed with great attention to detail. The front desk staff is friendly, and there's complimentary coffee, ice cream, and more in the lobby. There's also a bar on the rooftop with great views of Kyoto. It's very convenient for getting around, and the hot spring is a nice bonus. I would definitely choose this hotel again. Highly recommended!

What a pleasant surprise this hotel was! The attention to detail is truly exceptional, and the service is incredibly warm and welcoming. The hotel's cleanliness is impeccable. They also have a rooftop open-air bar where you can soak your feet while enjoying the scenery and a drink – it's absolutely wonderful, especially in the dead of winter. Plus, there's an outdoor hot spring, which is very clean and offers great views. They provide complimentary coffee, matcha, hot chocolate, sparkling drinks, and cold beverages, all available for unlimited consumption every day. I highly recommend the hot chocolate with ice cubes; it's so rich and delicious. The hotel's location is superb. Takashimaya is right outside, and there are tons of great restaurants nearby. It's also very close to all the major attractions. Aside from the room being a bit small, everything else was absolutely perfect. I'll definitely choose to stay here again whenever I visit Kyoto.

The hotel service was absolutely amazing! I left my bag in an Uber, and the front desk staff went above and beyond to help me get it back. The hot spring and the rooftop bar were also fantastic experiences, and even after check-out, they were incredibly patient with me and my friend storing our luggage multiple times. I fell in love with this hotel and will definitely be staying here again!

This hotel is very convenient. The staff is nice. Though the room is not very big, it has everything you want and the bed is comfortable.

The room was very clean, not large, but perfect for one person. The terrace was lovely, and the hot spring bath was great. They even had free drinks and popsicles!

The hotel has a hot spring and shopping is incredibly convenient. This is my second stay here. You can get to the hotel from Shijo Station on the Karasuma Line by walking through the underground passage past Takashimaya. I'll definitely choose this hotel again when I come to Kyoto.

This is a hotel in a good location, but the hot spring is small and crowded. Here's the main issue: I asked a hotel staff member for chopsticks in the evening, and he told me to get them from the B1 floor, but there were none. After that, there was no one at the front desk. They were very unfriendly. They kept calling to check out in the morning, calling twice.
