Hôtel Corniche du Liouquet

The hotel and location were perfect, and the access to the beach only steps away from the hotel was a lovely bonus. Thank you to each of the staff members who were kind and informative and helpful in every way.

It was the last two days of our holidays and I was looking for a hidden gem of a hotel, not too big, not too crowded, on the beach and for an affordable price. Seems impossible during the top season on super crowded Cote d'azur, but this is it. This hotel, nestled in a wonderful pine tree forest, has a picturesque beach just in the front, the whole area is peaceful & quiet. The hotel offers parking and as we arrived the check in at the reception couldn't be smoother. Our room was spacious, bright with a large balkony facing the turquoise sea and cliffs. Double bed super comfortable, large tv & bathroom, and all that spotlessly clean. As we decided not to use our car and stay just in the walking distance from the hotel, it was great to discover,that the hotel offers a room Service. You can order wine,beer,soft drinks & cold platers. And all of that delivered with a smile. Breakfast was super delicious. Another wonderful discovery was,that there is a fantastic Michelin stared restaurant just 2 minutes walk from the hotel, which we visited the first night. As the beach in the front of the hotel is quiet small and rocky (but for us ideal,the water was fabulous and the early morning swims so refreshing) there is this town of Saint Cyr sur Mer. Typical cute french village with cafes, bars, some really wonderful Restaurants and it's wide sand beaches is just 10 minutes walk from the hotel. Airport Marseille 50 minutes by car. The whole setting of the hotel is marvelous. All the staff so friendly. If you want to recharge your batteries, this is the place!❤️

Excellent hotel with good service. Superb view on the sea and the city (La Ciotat). Price very reasonable for the French Riviera. Room very comfortable. No noise from outside. 1/2 hour drive to La Ciotat. Cabs are expensive. You better rent a car if you can find a parking place in La Ciotat. The hotel is located about 1/2 drive to the railway station. From La Ciotat, you can catch one of the many trains and visit Marseille. Marseille is about 45 minutes by train from La Ciotat.

Lovely hotel and wonderful service! Natural rock beach a short hike down steps and path from hotel. Very nice room, 2nd floor with view of ocean through the parasol pines… Walking distance to 2 very nice restaurants. City 15 minutes by car. We took a taxi one evening and the cost was 20Euro per way. Wi-Fi could be stronger and a mini fridge would be helpful. Maybe other rooms have both. We loved our stay!
