Hotel Alpen Roc

The Alpen Roc is the perfect hotel to stay in with a family in La Clusaz. It has everything you need: clean rooms, a pool, a great buffet restaurant, pool table, bar and really friendly staff. We had half-board, which meant that everything was included for the whole stay.

Hotel Alpen Roc employs wonderful staff and they made our stay most enjoyable. Great food, particularly dinner, and superbly located near the slopes and town centre. We will definitely be back. Strongly recommend.

Our stay at the hotel was great, The staff played a big part in the positive experience. Everyone, from those at the reception to the cleaning crew, was friendly and ready to help, which added a personal touch to the stay. Their helpfulness didn't feel overbearing but just right, ensuring that all needs were met with a smile. The room provided a peaceful retreat, equipped with basic but thoughtful amenities that catered to essential comforts. It was the kind of space that encouraged relaxation after a day out, with a comfortable bed that promised a good night's sleep. The hotel also offered a decent breakfast. With a great view and the service here too mirrored the overall attentive and friendly attitude found throughout the hotel. In conclusion, this hotel delivers a solid, enjoyable stay. Its cleanliness, coupled with the attentive and friendly staff, makes it a place I would recommend, especially for travelers looking for a fuss-free and comfortable accommodation option. Hotel well located with good views over the town and of the mountains. We stayed all inclusive, every meal was excellent and good quality drinks included. All staff friendly and helpful. We wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

As a group of adults we were a little disappointed with the amount of children running around/in the spa area but I suppose this style of hotel lends itself to families. The Ski boot room could do with a regular clean/air freshener

Honestly can’t fault our stay here. The staff were so friendly and helpful both prior to our stay helping me arrange transfers, ski hire and passes and when we arrived with some fantastic restaurant recommendations. As soon as we arrived we felt the hotel had a lovely welcoming a**osphere to it. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The shower powerful and hot. We really enjoyed the sauna/jacuzzi/pool area and the inclusion of drinks and snacks was a real unexpected bonus. Would love to come back with the rest of the family.

This is a nice hotel in a central location. Bit of a walk to the main ski lifts but helps to limber up! We had a small double room that was adequate for 2, although it was a long way and 2 different lifts away from reception! We felt the cleaning service could have been better- eg beds not made on 2 days, wine glasses and rubbish not removed from our room. The staff were all really friendly and helpful, however on having a fire alarm early hours of one of the morning there was no real explanation or apology. We had B&B which also included free drinks and snacks during the day/eve. As a previous contributor mentioned - even though the wine was from a tap is was actually ok! Breakfast got a bit samey but we were only there 4 nights. We used the spa once during our visit and found it to be a tad small but fine for what we needed. Would I stay again? Yes!

Nice hotel in great location. Rooms fine. Cleaning service ok (only made beds and cleaned bathroom no other clean). All inclusive service was good, well organised and the food quality was really good apart from coffee which was poor. More choices at breakfast would have been nice. Need to not arrive late for dinner as you get the end of the selection or it has run out. Staff friendly and helpful. Not luxury but great for families and everything really accessible

We stayed with 2 families in ski hotel Alpen Roc Good hotel. Very friendly staff. Close to the ski lift. Good to have a small swimming pool and sauna, especially for the kids. Fantastic food! Every morning and evening a great breakfast en dinner.
