La Jolla Riviera Inn

I had stayed here 4 years ago and now after 4 years the quality had gone down significantly and was very disappointing. The staff were really helpful but the property is real rundown and cleanliness was also a serious issue. Parking was very convenient, free on the streets.

Great place. Two bedrooms and kitchen. Walk to beach and wildlife. No elevator so book 1st floor if that’s an issue.

This place has the greatest staff. Checking in is always so easy and friendly. The location is perfect. It’s walking distance to the beach and many restaurants, there’s no need to drive anywhere once you get there. This place is like a living experience, not like a hotel experience. I enjoy every stay all the time. I have stayed at practically all the other hotels around and I found this to be my go to place all the time from now on.

Expecting a person at check in, but nobody. Arrived at 9pm. Description said that a person would be there until midnight. Bathroom was moldy, maybe due to the area since it’s next ti the beach. And blinds kept falling off. Had a neighbor’s child who kept running around the floor which was extremely loud.

The room was dated, but pretty clean. The shower head sprayed water out over the shower doors and semi flooded the bathroom floor. The toilet paper rool fell apart. It's a one bedroom apartment, The kitchen has basic pots and pans, flatware, a couple plates, bowls, cups, and glasses, along with a dish drainer, dish soap, and a sponge to do the dishes. There were extra pillows and blankets in a closet, as well as a broom, and a couple TV trays. They have a basic HDTV with cable and Starz, it's not a smart tv so you can't stream, but I always travel with my laptop, and my Son has his iPad, and there WiFi was able to handle gaming and both of us streaming. The person at the check in desk was very informative and showed me where to get anything I needed (extra towels, fans, blankets and pillows, more coffee etc.). It's walking distance to the beach, and they have chairs you can take to the beach, provided you bring them back of course. They have a heated saltwater pool, but no jacuzzi. All in all it was a pleasent stay. I would stay there again,

Fun Spot to stay! A short walk to the beach. Restaurants & beach shops close by. really like a small apartment, includes a small pool. We love this place!

Central location. Very close to the beach and cove. Also offers great accessibility to multiple dining options. Personnel, although inaccessible for the most part, were polite and helpful when encountered.
