Such a stunning, well laid out hotel and spa - staff were very friendly and accommodating, the treatments and spa were just divine, not to mention the very competent therapists

We stayed there in 2025 (and also at the Grand Hotel Bristol in Rapallo in 2024), and everything was perfect. So we booked again for winter 2026 in July 2025. However, due to a policy change in November 2025, which was not mentioned anywhere, children are no longer allowed. If I book a hotel with a swimming pool, it’s for my child. So we had to cancel in emergency, just one day before the penalties (as well as find something else). Europe is becoming so sad, like Mykonos, destinations only for DINKs (me, myself and I) and Boomers.

We’ve just returned from 6 nights at this fabulous Hotel we would highly recommend. We really enjoyed our stay. From the moment we arrived staff couldn’t do more for us. Food is delicious in both restaurants bar snacks always yummy. Rooms were just what you need after a days skiing warm comfy and always cleaned every day. You were allowed access into the spa every day for an hour which was also well needed. Thank you for a perfect stay with you can’t wait to return.

Kids aren’t allowed in the pool wich is sad 😡 I’ve visited in 2022 2023 2024 2025 and not again 😩 I love this place but I like swimming 🏊🏼

Check-in: Smooth and efficient. There was an Argentinian woman at the front desk who took great care of us. The gentleman who helped us with the luggage (Nelson?) was very kind. Rooms: Clean and very comfortable. They gave us lots of water - mountain air will dehydrate you quickly. Spa: phenomenal- but book early Restaurant: food is fantastic. I found the service to be excellent - very Italian but very good. The wine list is a bit limiting, but nice. Overall, I would return here.

My stay at Montana Lodge & Spa in La Thuile was absolutely wonderful, and one of the true highlights was the exceptional service at the bar. The atmosphere of the lodge is warm, elegant, and perfectly suited for relaxing after a day in the mountains, but what really made the experience unforgettable was the staff. In particular, Stefano and Bianca deserve special recognition. Their service was truly impeccable: always attentive, professional, and genuinely welcoming. They demonstrated outstanding knowledge of drinks, cocktails, and wines, offering excellent recommendations tailored perfectly to guests’ tastes. Beyond their technical skills, what stood out most was their passion and friendliness, which made every moment at the bar a pleasure. Stefano and Bianca elevated the entire experience with their competence, efficiency, and warm attitude, making guests feel truly cared for. Thanks to them, the bar at Montana Lodge & Spa is not just a place to have a drink, but a memorable part of the stay

The pool can not be used for children which is not good! 😡☹️ the service was okay 🤔 I will not be coming here again if kids are not allowed to go in the pool 🏊‍♀️
