Grand Eastern Hotel

My husband and I enjoyed our stay here. It holds a lot of history this hotel. Its dining room with old photos was a nice touch to Fiji’s earlier days, giving it a warm ambience. The building itself is almost heritage like, a time piece that made me wonder who came here and so on. The outdoor space filled with beautiful plants and a pool, and lots of sitting space made it a chilled place to enjoy and relax. We stayed in their newest apartment deluxe room. It was clean and welcoming. The staff were very warm, friendly, helpful and polite throughout our stay. I would stay here again for it’s convenient location and comfortable room, and wonderful staff.

They checked me in early with no fuss, hotel was clean. All amenities were as per booking site. Location is right in the middle of Labasa town so very convenient. The staff were friendly. Breakfast was alright.

The water pressure was very poor, and took minutes for hot water

The Grand Eastern is set around a lovely courtyard, the building is beautiful and the location is perfect. Unfortunately, the property is poorly maintained, plumbing is very weak, and cleanliness is not up to standards. While some staff members are helpful and friendly, other are plain rude. This place could be a gem but needs some effort from management and staff.

Room especially the deluxe room are old and bathrooms needs renovation. Everything in this room is old.

New wing of hotel is excellent except when you shower the toilet floor gets wet as well. The original hotel floors dirty ,toilet,hand basin so old and dirty.Tiles need commercial scrubbing Towels are like hundred years old the colur is mo longer white.towels need replacing.

The Fijian lady that helped with the check in was friendly and helpful. My apologies, i didn't get her name.

Best in Labasa, a bit dated, though there is a new wing about to open.

Coffee too expensive Rooms were clean and good ac
