The Art Hotel

I spent the week at the Art Hotel while in Lagos for work and I had a really good stay. On arrival, I had one of the fastest check-ins I've ever had anywhere! The staff was very friendly and helpful and I was settled in my room in no time. Through the week, the rooms were cleaned and refreshed daily - just remember to leave a tag on the day asking them to tidy up and they will! If staying for a few nights, remember to bring gym clothes and take advantage of the gym facilities or take a dip in the rooftop swimming pool to cool off. Enjoy a cocktail in the rooftop restaurant or a night cap in the Mist restaurant, whatever you fancy. One thing to note is you cannot charge any extras to the room to clear later. Instead, you need to pre-pay and draw down on a balance to facilitate that, otherwise, you clear your bills at the restaurant or elsewhere for whatever you consume. They accept all cards. All round a great place to stay- would stay there again.

The rooms are great The staff is good The only thing I did not like was how long it takes food to come Every time I went to the restaurant, had to wait for over an hour for food. So plan ahead!

Pleasant property in quiet and safe location, with beautiful paintings thoughtfully set out, to stay for business or leisure away from the hustle and bustle. All staff appeared professional willing to serve, indicative of good management culture. Good sized room with everything to make it a comfortable stay

It was a lovely stay, ambience and staff were courteous, however be cautious about parking your car, left our car in good condition to return to an almost totalled car on one side, looked like some jammed into it, asked security and they couldn't come up with any reason and to make matters worse the hotel had a bold disclaimer that you park at your risk. Thatz how our lovely stay turned sour.

The staff were unprofessional and the breakfast buffet is mediocre. They need to do better. Aesthetics is good and it’s a great location

Sadly the rooms were not as I expected. Carpets were old and dirty. The bathrooms were poorly maintained and hard to use. Saddens me to be harsh but I don’t think I’ll be going back

The hotel staff were very friendly but the hotel was poor. They charged me $650 for 2 rooms both one night. The rooms look nothing like the pictures. It had mold in the bathrooms, the wifi didn’t make it to the room, and the tv channels looked like it was dubbed illegally from somewhere else. I wouldn’t pay more than $100 for this hotel. I didn’t want to stay in any of the well known hotels thinking the pictures for this hotel was nice but never again. To charge over $300 for this hotel is crazy work. Never coming back!!!! I wouldn’t recommend but try at your own risk lol.
