First thing to know, The photo images are all form when they first built this hotel. A fact in Nigeria is that they do not maintain anything very well. Everything is old and falling apart. The first thing is they have all the bed boxsprings directly on the tile floor and they put a dust ruffle over top of it, then the mattress is on top of that on the floor. When housekeeping mops they slop a old dirty wet mob against the fabric at the bottom with the box Spring and it's soaking wet and smells.i it is very gross. Next NEVER any hot water. If you let it run for a 10 to 25 minutes (which to me is a complete total waste of water), You might get a Luke warm temperature. Even if I turn off the air condition in the room it is still very cold to shower. The pool looks nice but there is no shallow area to stand in unless you are in the round area. Typically, you would call that a jacuzzi But there are no jets to force air and the most important part is there is not a seating shelf around the edge. If you sit on your butt it is over your head and I am a tall woman. The do put chlorine but it needs shocked. The water is very cloudy, you cannot see the bottom. The Canadian woman staying here has a painful parasite in her ear From swimming in this pool. The first couple nights I was doing water exercises in the circular smaller pool but now I won't go in that water. The elevators are in the middle of the hotel therefore the rooms on each floor are somewhat Pie shaped around the main elevator. Which makes each room susceptible to the very loud Hall noise. The employees at the bar and reception act is a few are bothering them because they are all constantly looking down on their phones. The shower grout is missing from the tiles and it's some areas they have tried to put caulking but that has peled away. Behind the tile now the water has gotten in there and there's black Mold and mildew.now. When you take a shower, that water goes into cracks and then forces its way back out onto your feet with nasty water. THIS HOTEL was nicer under previous management. IT IS ALSO UNDER RENOVATION CONSTRUCTION for the Casino and Restaurant on 6 and 7th floor. They allow construction at night and it reverberates throughout while you are trying to sleep. I have posted all of the photos and many individual comments on their Facebook page. But they have blocked me so when you read their reviews. If they have access they only keep the good reviews. Service at the bar and front desk is terrible. The Employees are glued to their phones in their hands and they act as if you are bothering them to order a drink from the bar especially the younger female. One last thing although I could go on, The shower tub is built up and the flooring is a very slippery marble. When exiting the shower be very careful because there is no step in. It is a tall drop down. There is no handle to hold on although there is a glass front but that is not strong enough to support body weigh
