Our stay at Royal Swiss Hotel was unfortunately disappointing in several aspects. The bed is positioned directly facing the entrance door, so whenever the door is opened by room service or anyone entering the room, there is a direct view of the bed, which is quite uncomfortable from a privacy perspective. The bathroom amenities, including shampoo, lotion, and bath gel, were also almost empty, with only a very small amount left, which was unexpected for a hotel of this standard. The biggest disappointment, however, was the food—the taste of the food from the room-service restaurant was extremely poor and far below our expectations. The food from Swiss Café was comparatively much better and was the only dining experience we enjoyed. Overall, the hotel has potential, but better attention to privacy, replenishment of amenities, and especially food quality is needed.
