Driftwood Inn - Lake City

10:51 • a 100 Driftwood Inn Tim T. 4 minutes ago ... This place is an absolute dump. There were three homeless looking people down at the end. No lighting whatsoever in the parking lot. The "managers" barely spoke English and didn't care about my concerns at all. Don't stay, I going to leave my truck and $15k boat there overnight. Wouldn't give me a refund so, bad review, calling ********** and complaining and also stopping payment on my credit card. Ended on driving another 4-5 hours after already driving 14! Stay away from here!

The required $50 deposit was unexpected. Couldn't get the TV to work. In the morning there was little to no hot water

The room was clean, bathroom clean, bed comfortable, good TV reception, front desk clerk pleasant, and complimentary coffee in the morning. Reasonable price for a nice room.

Yes I felt very much neglected. I checked in. Went to my room.pulled the sheets back on one of the beds and there were spots on the sheets and pillows what appeared to look like blood stains. I called to the front desk androld thw person at the front desk. He came down and told me.to use the other bed. I asked for a different room and he told there were no other rooms available. Then proceeded to give me more sheets for me to change them myself. Woke ip the next morning to roaches crawling on the bed. This was the worst experience of all time and being that i booked third party i couldnt get a refund to go aome where else. I also have pictures of it all i do believe that i am entitled to a refund or some type of credi for the horrible experience

They asked 50$ for deposit , took 32.50$ out of my acc and payed me back 27.30$. I don’t really understand what happened, but overall clean place !

Desk clerk was nice enough but the room was awful. There was stuffed walls no inside lock for the exterior door, no washcloths, soap,shampoos, conditioner, no blow dryer no blankets the future was so damaged I was afraid to even touch it much less put anything on it . Our room were between to other's with loud music and talking outside our room. We knew we wouldn't be reimbursed so we stayed againts our will and the smell was so bad we left hours before we wanted just because we couldn't breathe in the room. We won't be back nor will we recommend it.

Not even a 2 star experience. Very dirty, accumulated dist and sticky remotes... broken sink, broken tv... just bad.

Staff left me outside on the cold weather for the whole check in process. Linens were not clean

A note at the front desk said they would be back in 15 minutes. It was 25. That was checkin. Breakfast in the morning was one already cold pot of coffee. The TV did not work. On the positive, the room was clean.
