Sun Castle Resort

Great place. Was still the off season so we were the only ones on property and it was quite serene. Will love to come back in the summer. The restaurant was fantastic. And the hosts were very communicative throughout the whole stay. Five stars.

The townhouse was very cozy, relaxing, and well-maintained! The view of Lake George was stunning. The maintenance crew was extremely helpful in plowing the parking lot and helping us get up the hill in the snow!! We will definitely be returning!

Nice lake view and spacious accentuations. The staff was pleasant and granted my special request. Had an issue with the jet tub and they were going to fix it. The fix would take place after we checked out. That was the only negative issue that we encountered on our trip.

The best accommodation and the most attentive staff ever!!! Great lake and mountain views. Clean spacious cabins. Kitchen and laundry, 3 bathrooms 2 showers room for 6. Fantastic pool area with tables with umbrellas chairs and loungers. Just awesome

There were 6 of us in the townhouse and we had plenty of room. The place was clean when we arrived and close to the village and Bolton Landing. I’m sure it is beautiful in the summer too! The view from the deck was superb even though it was late January.

I like the that there were balconies on both levels. The Jacuzzi in the room was a plus. TV didn't work, but we got it squared away before the NBA game👍🏽We felt very welcomed. The grounds were upkept nicely. With doors shut, pretty sou.d proof. Be prepared to walk hills if you leave your room.to explore the grounds. This will def be my summer vacation spot if there's availability.

Been in this resort a few times on different occasions. Always liked it. Great location on the water. Lodges are generally clean. One point was taken because the attitude of management. They texted and emailed about our checking out by 10. We obliged. But lake George had some rain and snow last night. When we got ready, took the luggages and walked out the door around 9:30am, the walks were covered by slushes and snow. Because it’s on a slope, it was a slippery walk down the hill to the car with stuff in your hands. We managed it, but called the management to say that they should not have waited the last minute to clean the walkway when they texted to make us leave by 10. It’s not difficult to understand that most people don’t wait till the last minute to check out. Instead of a simple apology, Laurie the manager kept saying that if we had called them and they would have come down to help us. It’s not our job to check on the walkway conditions for the management, or our obligation to wait for them to clean the road when we were already out of the door with languages to go. Another point of dedication was the supplies in the condo. Later of the stay I discovered a list of kitchen supplies inside a cabinet door with a long list of things…I briefly went over a few things that obviously were mismatching to what was there, for example, supposed to be 8 Bowles, actually only 2 were there, 8 dinner knives but only 4 in fact etc. I had to call them to tell them the list is not accurate and I don’t want to be responsible if they decide to count after I leave. It’s a hustle that I had to make this call for clarification. It’s also an inconvenience when we the family has 4 people and there were only two bowls. We were not there long and made do of it. But little things make you uncomfortable sometimes.

The Townhouses were very comfortable and warm! The units were clean. We loved the view even though it was November! The staff were all friendly and welcoming! There was only 1 coffee mug on the shelves - we borrowed from the other townhouse we reserved. There wasn’t any extra blankets for use with the pullout bed. We requested a blanket and additional towels, but didn’t receive them until we messaged the front desk a second time after the wedding reception.

The resort is absolutely beautiful The townhouses are spacious, with great views and nicely stocked kitchen and laundry room. Checking in and outbwas more than easy and questions were answered immediately. We were there for my niece's wedding and the venue, views and service could not have been more perfect for a fall wedding. The only annoying thing was the leaf blower was running all day long. But I can over look that for what a wonderful time we had.
