Tekapo is absolutely beautiful, and the hotel's location is perfect for stargazing at night. The only downside is that if you cook in the room, the smell of fumes lingers for a long time. Other than that, we had a very pleasant night here.

The space is huge, definitely big enough for two people! We arrived after 9 PM, and initially, I couldn't find the PIN for the self-check-in. I messaged the host on Trip.com, and they replied very quickly! The heating was excellent and made for a very comfortable night. The bathroom even had a heater, which made showering really pleasant!

Overall, the stay was good. You can see countless stars from the outdoor area at night. However, due to reflections, the glass ceiling inside the accommodation doesn't allow for stargazing, which I think guests should be aware of. Also, the cooking utensils provided were quite dirty and not thoroughly cleaned.

The living room in our suite was huge, and we could even stargaze from our room at night. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you could possibly need: pots, pans, cutlery, you name it. My only complaint is that there wasn't enough bathroom space – we had three bedrooms but only two bathrooms.

The location is fantastic, very easy to find, and super close to the lake. The parking right outside is a real bonus for those driving. The room facilities are comprehensive, and the bathroom is incredibly spacious and wheelchair-accessible. There's nothing obstructing the view outside, so you can stargaze directly from the entrance at night.

The hotel environment is impeccable, and the view outside the floor-to-ceiling windows is unparalleled. The only minor flaw is that the bathroom floor is very slippery, whether wearing slippers or barefoot. Elderly people and children need to be careful. It would be great if there was a non-slip mat in the shower, or maybe we just didn't find one.
